what a beast of a game that was from both Axelsen and CTC. That's an intensity that we haven't seen from both player in a while. Absolutely stunning and passionate performance from both player. Great to see CTC win that match and how Axelsen still display amazing sportmanship for his competitor. same goes for Lee/Wang... i've often said that they play with such tight margins that they end up making so many mistakes... not today. They were able to stay consistent and apply so much pressure on their opponents. This fast/drive type of gameplay works better against the Danes than the Chinese or Korean pairs. The Danes were not able to hold out today.
