I have to congratulate both Team Japan and China to put on such a nerve racking match. The MD match between Hoki/Kubayashi and Liu/Ou is as good as you can expect. No matter you root for Team China or Team Japan, from 13:19 in the third game, every single point is heart attack worthy. This what sport is about, impossible happens! That match inspired Chen/Jia in their final match against Fukushima/Hirota. The game is closer than the points indicated. There were a lot of impossible/unbelievable saves from Chen/Jia, whom I believe turned on an epic performance in this match.

Such a mental and crazy game. Watching China pulls a slight lead before Japan catching back to them vice versa is so exciting because it's hard to predict who will win. Mixed Doubles is full of drama with both teams fighting till the end for the points across three sets. Yamashita and Shino did so well to keep it together to win the game in the end. Men Single, despite looking like Naraoka can win the game easily especially on first set, Shi Yu Qi did not gave up and instead continues to fight harder for second and third set, it was amazing to see Shi made a great comeback to turn things around for China. Women Single, Akane showed the crowds that she is still the world number one. Despite losing two games previously and seems like she was under pressure during the battle with Chen Yu Fei especially when Akane was behind many points, she was able to keep it cool and turn things back to her favor. Gaining more points and overtook Chen to win straight sets. Congrats to Akane, my favourite player. Then comes Men Doubles, Hoki and Kobayashi did well to win first set. But of course, the Chinese duo fought hard with the two. Gaining points on each others with lots of intense moments, it was very fun watching them outsmart each other. However, some mistakes by Hoki and Kob really costed them some points that eventually bites them back. In the third set, they made two mistakes that costed them two points and those points wouldve help them to win the game. If they can find the one point, they can wrap up the game and head to final. 20-13, it was looking like Japan can win this. But then, mistakes after mistakes really ruined their hope and China won in the end. That was a painful moment for the duo which sealed their fate. Finally, Women Doubles that went one-sided from the beginning. China took control right way and never look back, leaving the two Japanese duo to be defeated easily. It was a sad moment knowing that their dreams were dashed instantly. I feel so sad for all of the team members, they fought so hard to reach the final to claim the Sudirman title for the first time but sadly, they were denied today. Hope they won't give up and can come back in 2025 for another attempt. Good luck!!!

Shi Yuqi, Liu/Ou and Chen/Jia saved the Chinese team. They all did so well. Determination was shown in Shi, Ou/ Liu, Chen/Jia 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌.. Thanks so so much 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Big hugs to all 😘😘😘😘😘 I love Chen Yufei, Fan/Huang so much, but they really didn't do well, lacked confidence and determination. I've always supported the Chinese team, but I really don't understand why today the first match Chinese team coaching let Zheng / Huang rest and replaced with Fan/ Huang. Even though I liked Huang/Fan a lot but in the decisive match, Fan should not be present because he lacks confidence 🤦‍♀️ Hopefully Fan/Huang even YuFei will do better in the upcoming tournaments. More confidence and determination 💪💪💪

Super tight XD/MS/MD matches. Will HBJ play tomorrow against ASY or will they let CYF? I think they should let HBJ play (unless she's injured). She has a better record against ASY than CYF. Well, almost the same but I feel like HBJ will fight for it more? I also wonder why the Japanese team didn't let a different WD play. I feel like Shida and Matsuyama are more consistent. Maybe reserving them for the finals if ever they reach it? Anyway. Great effort from both teams. Here's my prediction for tomorrow's finals. XD - CHN MS - CHN WS - KOR MD - KOR WD - KOR (if Baek / Lee will play BUT not the way they played during the YAE Finals). why did china not play zheng/huang for xd? it is not very clear that md could win. if zheng/huang played they wouldve won to guarantee to 2-1 going into md (it is likely that ms wins and ws loses), so that even if md loses, wd will win to make it 3-2. this is a dubious knockout stage match so in my humble opinion china should not have tried to save zheng/huang for the final

I think the coaches want Zheng/Huang to rest. They played all games previously and will likely play in finals tomorrow. In theory Feng/Huang is still stronger than the Japanese pair, but they kinda choked, especially Feng.

I totally agree, today Fan didn't play really well at the decisive points🤦‍♀️. I really liked Huang / Fan, but obviously the match was not really good, the mentality is not as stable as Huang / Zhang in the match against Indo team.
