it was an impartial commentary, maybe a little biased against LZJ, but it isn't "unprofessional" nor is it the end of the world. being remotely critical of LZJ doesn't make someone super biased.

Lee Zii Jia defined Naraoka so well. Such a huge gap between 2 top players. Although I favor Naraoka the most, I find Naraoka vs LZJ match is one sided. Not so easy but definitely a win for LZJ

Either I missed something or you're all butthurt LZJ fans incapable of acknowledging even the slightest form of criticism. Please provide an example of the unnecessary remarks regarding LZJ during the match so I can understand.

@@joaorobalo7594 Not saying that there are absolutely zero praises for LZJ here, the commentators did praise them both here and there. But there are a few things unnecessary to be said actually. These are a few unneeded comments from LZJ's match in Australian open, not from this match alone. 1. "He's expecting to win gold in Olympics, I personally think he's still a bit off from winning gold. The likes of Axelsen and SYQ, LSF is a bit too much for him. 3 finals in 4 tournaments is a great way to prepare for OLY but I don't think its a sure win because there are some great great players going". I mean, sure we all know that but does he really have to say it like he was incapable of winning? 2. The way they were scoffing in disbelief when LZJ failed in doing his backhand smash. 3. They way they said his fans keep praising every skills he showed in a match and goes "woah this woah that" and then proceed to laugh "look at the scoreline!?" when he was behind 3-6 on the third game as if they was saying the fans hyped him too much like he did not deserved it. 4. Also they said when LZJ won thailand open, top players like Jonatan and SYQ did not participate. Its like saying he can win the tournament just because no top players were playing when anders, kunlavut, kodai also did joined but lost on the first 3 rounds. 5. "Lee zii jia is a self-absorbed person, don't you think?". Was that necessary?? 😀 Luckily the other commentator replied back with "a player at his level, he has to be so". 6. Also if im not mistaken it was during a match vs Kenta, they were laughing while talking about his mental state and comparing him to another Malaysian legend, mentioning his name for multiple times. Why keeps bringing up someone in the past when the one playing is still trying his best? I agree how some people saying they were "unprofessional" might be a bit too much, but many fans felt like they were taking sides at some points (i hope it wasn't true) which they shouldn't because this is a commentary for public audience. It can badly backfire. People would not mind if they were doing it like this for the audience in their own country alone. You can say fans are overreacting but honestly, any fans of any athletes wouldn't like it if commentators talk about their favourite players like that. Even local sport commentators find some parts a bit condescending.
