Grego and Komang have played really well, beating opponents with higher ranking. Esther's effort was also not dissapointing, her technic has been improving, and her fighting spirit deserved praises. Overall, Indonesian WS is improving well.

@@godhongijoblt I'd say she has improved her footworks too this is the fastest I saw her. Compare with her final in Nantes, this is a much higher tempo. After that back to back finals, she injured her foot, I have no doubt its due to heavy training in this area. Now that she has recovered, I can clearly see the improvement.

Japan made hard work of that tie. My dark horse to potentially win the Uber Cup, but they will need to become more consistent and resourceful before they face the big guns of China and Korea, both of whom will punish anything less than Japan's best.

Women China are too strong at the moment. I don't think Japan can win under any circumstance. They'll probably pick He Bingjiao to play Yamaguchi since Chen Yufei has unfavourable record, and it's not certain for Yamaguchi to win. Chen/Jia would destroy Matsuyama/Shida again. The other women pair I don't know but I don't think they can beat Zhang/Zheng or Liu/Tan. Second single, looking at their forms I don't think either Okuhara nor Ohori can beat Han Yue. And third single, Miyazaki is too young. Honestly I don't think Japan entered this Uber with an intention to win. They always needed their womens double and they don't have like Fukushima/Hirota now.

@@xyzcv5 You're probably right, but I took the opinion that the Japanese women's doubles pairs, at their very best, are good enough to beat anyone else. Achieve that and they then only need one win in a singles event to win a semi or final. That is possible, unlikely, but possible. Hence why I considered them a dark horse (a team that could cause an unanticipated outcome).
