I have this drone, but it’s recently purchased. It claims to have 50 minute batteries x3. I have the “training wheels” set right now until I get accustomed to the controls and it’s nearly foolproof. There’s a “Stop” button on the controller that I’m going to cover to prevent accidental engagement. Supposed to be used in emergencies only. Pressing it will lead to a crash.

The camera has a lot of studder and looks choppy. I particularly noticed it the second you videoed yourself talking with the drone. Other than that, it would probably be best filming in 1080p than the 4K-15.

My point I guess is if you want one is watch them as they often put them on sale. Umm, Ine other trick I've learned if you shop on Amazon a lot, you know where it says the "price" well below that it sometimes says "Available at other prices" well I picked up a full DJI Mavic Mini original price was $ 430 it said slight " blem" I can't find it, plus damaged box. Umm little point crushed. So. I got full package for 130. Sorry I know that was long but hopefully someone will find deals like that. Umm one more...

Some drones with 15 fps you can drop the resolution down to 2.7K or 1080P like the C Fly Mini and get something closer to 30 f/s. 15 f/s looks just to choppy for me. If there's an option on this drone to get a higher frame rate at 2.7K, id do that or try even 1080P if you have to drop it to that. Just something that might be useful to include in reviews to compare if your best 4K option has a poor frame rate but if you can get a better frame rate dropping down to 2.7K or so. You reviewed another drone that was only 2.7K but the frame rate was 30fps and it's was practically just as nice as 4K30.

I just got this drone yesterday and I haven’t messed with around too much, and I switched the app back to 2.7 K 25 frames per second and we’ll see how that does. But I didn’t have a Micro SD in the camera. I’d assume the video would be better quality with the SD as opposed to the app just.

Just bought one, and it's $530 from Amazon. I'd be a lot happier if it was $350. I thought for the price that the video would be better (as poined out in this video). I haven't powered it up yet. The promo video says 25 minutes per battery Times three batteries is 75 minutes. Details say 720P when saved on the phone, 4K when saved to the SD card. The microSD card does not come with the drone. At this time, it's $17.18 from Amazon 128 GB and it's installed on the under side of the camera. My wife told me that some drone require reistration with the FAA (?) as there are restricted areas. I haven't crossed this bridge yet.

Thanks for taking the time to share! You're wife is very smart (and probably always right!), you will need more than simple registration now as well. You'll need to take the TRUST test, follow a set of CBO rules and this drone will need to be equipped with remote ID since this one is heavier than 250g. I think you over reacted, the snap back is the drone doing its job keeping oriented in it's position, it's not a DJI. Or a movie maker , I like this drone , has all the goods that most drone don't at that price you can find this drone new for 209.00 if anyone interested.

Hello! This is a decent flier for sure. Not sure how the position snapping back can be an intentional feature rather than a bug. I can see how easily it would happen as it probably has some drift compensation built in to keep the position from drifting and it should be disabled/reset upon a stick input. Probably fixed in 2 minutes by a programmer, that's why I bring it up. Only thing I think they could change which would make a big difference in video is to increase the frame rate on the video as 15 fps is noticeable even with modest movements. Thinking about it, since it is such a good flier and the camera is already a removable module, having an additional improved camera "kit" available that could be purchased if desired and swapped out would be a dandy option. Where do you find that on the drone, box or in the app? I have tried all sorts of combinations that I have found and it keeps saying invalid number.

I'm not familiar with this specific drone, but usually you can find it in the app. It's usually listed on the box or the drone itself as well. I think with that drone it should start with 1875BF7Gxxxxx.... or similar. They did have models without remote ID for a while, make sure this is one of the models that includes it...

It is made with a quick disconnect to swap with a replacement camera. I don't think there is a different camera available to swap it with but if you broke one, replacement with an exact replacement would be easy though...

To some extent you get what you pay for so really it depends what you want/need out of the drone. There are a lot better models out there but they will get incrementally more expensive but have more capabilities, stability, range and battery life...

The camera mount is "quick change" designed, but I think that's where it ends. They might have thought about making it changeable with a different camera, maybe even their own, but nothing will fit except the original camera. It is just too specialized. So the simple answer would be "no" I guess... 😎

@@kewlztertc5386 Unless you want to mount a GoPro though the mount isn't the only issue, you still have to have electrical and programmatic compatibility to have it save video, transmit FPV and move the camera up and down. It looks like a fairly unique pinout on the odd connector so it probably won't be compatible with anything off the shelf.

So I'm back like 3 months later, and "Drum roll please" I've been through probably 5-6 other drones (My latest I wanted to check out the Red Exo Drone FX Ranger with Obstacle avoidence for some reason, Well 2nd flight today, she goes sideways and I probably should have stiches in my chest) so back to My Good Ole Bwine F7. Yea gave the Minnie a shot unfortunutly the umm Tree jumbed out and turned the cam at a 90, still did not like it. Now Let me ask any of you have you dealt with either Betty . Choolan., or oh poop I forgot the last ladys name? Their customer service id the BEST IN THE INDUSTRY. I'm not kidding. If you have a problem, call Be Nice or I'll Punch ya in the nose. LOL No kidding but really they are so nice. Art. PS, I'm in Fla and it's just starting to break (The weather") so say around 6-7 u can venture out and get a bird up.

Looks like fortune is on your side. This is a great drone and has basically satisfied my desire for a GPS drone. I don't particularly care about cameras, so it's best footage being 1080p at 25fps it's good enough for me. Oddly enough I love sensors...the more the better...so a part of me will always yearn for a GPS drone with optical flow, ultrasonic sensors and infrared obstacle detection... Luckily for me my version of the F7 has infrared obstacle detection in the front...turns out... it's annoying as heck...😅 Oh! And I'm in FL too! South fl though so there's nothing pretty to see here without an FAA registration...😶‍🌫️

Hello, I just received this drone as well to review… Unfortunately, the weather hasn't been cooperative the last few days so I haven't taken it out for the maiden flight yet. My question is why me? I don't have as many subscribers and it doesn't seem like this drone is all that great… I fly FPV freestyle I've built hundreds of drones and again why me? I don't fly these type of drones....And from all of the other videos that I've seen I'm not that excited to get this thing in the air... I don't think I can give it a good review especially from what I've seen and from what I know and understand about drones the work I've been doing for years with Drones tell me this is nothing at all special.... #HellYeahFPV

I learn something from every drone I fly. I find if it is enjoyable to fly and someone can learn something from it that may help them decide if the product is right for them, or absolutely not right for them, then it's a win for me. If the product sucks, is cheap, doesn't fly, right flies into a tree, maybe the marketing is a bit deceitful and I don't enjoy the experience (or I may not based on my initial evaluation), then it's a no go for me. Not about being that _special_ for me, as in the end most drones do a similar thing and they are all getting pretty good, and sometimes I don't understand why someone else may be interested in the drone, but if I can help them and enjoy the flight then it is good for my creative psyche and I say bring it on!
