Hey thanks for the video! I've got 2017 Hemi Trailhawk, do you know if the blackops end links fit all WK2 models? On the site, I found they are listing Trackhawks and SRTs but I thought those were equipped with different sway bars and therefore potentially different size/shaped links?

Yes it fits all models.

Just had my wk2 srt up on the rack for an alignment, and the tech noticed that both front black ops end links had snapped the mounting stud on the control arm end. So, sure, maybe it’s “better” in that the ball joint doesn’t bind, but unless you’re using these in a long travel off-road application (where you should be disconnecting them anyway), the stud is a failure point because of how it’s machined. Caveat: my wk2 has been on the road course which is almost definitely when the end link snapped…but almost definitely the only time you’re really asking a lot from that front bar too.

That’s actually quiet impressive that you’ve pushed them to that limit. Definitely not sure another situation that would replicate those forces.

@@AtlasWilder there’s no other situation that replicates those forces, true, but there’s no other situation where you need the front bar. If the alignment tech hadn’t looked, I would never have noticed the links were broken driving it around on the street.

Saw a video of a person popping the link out by hand

Just 2 cents. Leave out the opinion/disclaimer at the beginning about bashing/ not bashing. Let peeps decide that on their own. Also, the audio sounds like you're whispering. Great video shots and attention to detail. Thanks for posting this. Good content!

Good video but I still see issues with the Black Ops end links, as my lowered 2014 GC SRT has started experiencing issues with "clunking sounds" on slow driving over normal street conditions, where Jeep immediately identified slop in the aftermarket end links. Gonna take them off and compare them to the video on KZbin of a guy popping out the studs by hand, where he shows how the bolt material (threads) were stretched and ensued in going back and forth with Chad from Black Ops to no satisfaction. I agree the design is superior to BWoody, but performance is still shows failures. These are 5,500 lbs. trucks, where the Black Ops manufacturer of the links rates them to 4,200 lbs.. More to come.

Damn that’s crazy, I’m not sure are the stock links not too long?? Every design so far has improved upon another. I’m sure they or someone else will have a solid one. I think Eibach has the best system so far for the WK2 it’s just noisy from what I’ve read.

Great breakdown and I completely agree. You're probably going to get a lot of haters which confuses me. Seems to me like the people running the BWoody suspension are almost cult like. They think very highly of the product and don't like any criticism of it and will argue with you even in when concreate evidence is provided. I have seen them call people liars and then when proof is provided they blame it on improper install.

Both links have issues

I would completely agree if his Bwoody links were installed properly, go to his other video titled as improve handling. 5:29 in your video clearly showing the Bwoody links were installed incorrectly upside down and passenger on driver side and driver side on passenger side. You clearly did not follow Bwoody's instructions, and at 5:35 showing them dry as a bone (ungreased) not maintained, would have been nice for an honest review of a properly installed part!
