This is testament to Bach's gift. Imagine writing a song so dope that people living over 300 frickin' years in the future not only listened to it but would also adapt and remix it into a whole new genre of music that is just as evocative as the day they sat down and put a melody in their heads down on paper. I can think of no higher honor for a musician. He would be stoked.

I mean a song written 300 years ago, give or take, as in a song, this one in fact, which was originally composed in 1731. I agree with the second part of your comment but it was indeed written 300ish years ago.

I think Bach would have hated this remix. I think he, Bach himself; if presented and gifted with our modern technology, would have slowed it down and added nature to it. I think Bach would have taken the opportunity to show everyone how to use all our technology to create a true gift from God. I think Bach would have made it sound more like a fusion of Robert Miles, Pink Floyd, and Deadmau5. Just my opinion. What would Bach have done with Toccata and Fuge in D Minor with our technology? The piece is like the breath, spirit, and ghost of history wrapped up like a gift from God. Obviously, that gift was given to humanity through Bach. Mozart this and Mozart that.... Bach is the "Batman" of classical music!

I completely agree with you! It's always a delight when artists create something that resonates so well with their listeners. I can imagine this piece of classical trance being played on a beautiful summer day, with a cool breeze caressing your skin and taking you on a sonic journey that leaves you feeling uplifted and inspired. Music has such a magical power to transport us and make us feel alive.

Love this. It's like hearing a brand new song that you already know the words to.

I completely agree! It's like the feeling of nostalgia mixed with the excitement of discovering something new. It's amazing how even though we may have heard a song countless times, it can still manage to give us goosebumps and put a smile on our faces. It's like finding an old childhood toy that reminds us of simpler times or stumbling upon a hidden gem in a thrift shop that we can't wait to show off to our friends. There's something about the familiarity of it all that just feels comforting, yet exhilarating at the same time. And just like a familiar song, life has a way of surprising us with unexpected twists and turns. We never know what new experiences or adventures we'll encounter. But with each one comes the opportunity for growth and learning. So let's crank up the volume, sing along, and dance to the beat of life! 🎶💃🕺

I wonder what Father Bach would think? He would have to wrap his head around the electronic sounds. He would have to believe that we were loving his music centuries later. He would have wonder that we wanted to dance to it in this manner. This is truly lovely in that the melody's legato floats over the energetic track (and choral pad). Very, very sweet.
@lucabeckr Жыл бұрын
I think first he would have to wrap his head around how we even play this music in the first place, without anyone performing. At anytime we like.

Bach ist genius in der welt...
@TheRadMan Жыл бұрын

Oh, I feel you! 🎶There are some songs that just have a way of embedding themselves in our minds and refusing to leave, no matter how hard we try. But hey, maybe that's a sign it's a really great song! Have you tried singing or humming some other tunes to try and shake it loose? Or maybe just give in and dance around like nobody's watching to the beat that's got you hooked? 😉

@@TheRadMan Usually thinking of another song helps and then I get bored and am onto something else. This is a great Remix you made, probably played it 50 times now. Do you have any idea how much math I've done listening to this song lol.

Glad to hear that! Are you enjoying your day so far? I always find that starting the day off with a positive mindset makes everything fall into place more easily. Is there anything in particular that's making your day great? Maybe a good cup of coffee or an exciting project you're working on? Whatever it is, keep that positivity going! It's contagious and can make a big difference in not just your own life, but those around you as well.

В середине 80-х еще в СССР была очень популярна классика - Бах, Вивальди в электронной обработке. Часто звучала в программе Взгляд. Никак не могу найти на ютюбе. Кто-нибудь знает название группы? Буду очень благодарна.

It's incredible to see how his music can adapt to any style and still maintain its grandiosity. It just goes to show how music has the power to bring people together and provide a platform for endless creativity. Have you discovered any Bach arrangements that particularly blew you away?
