A genius will always bright, any form of Darkness can only reflect his Light exposing him. Even for the advance age he had, that obviously impede him to perform at the same level that other recordings when he was younger, but here you feel still his accuracy in the notes, his passion when playing, his profound understanding of the musicality. A genuine Master. Here we are, so delighted of listening you Mr. Richter 💗

In 1991 Richter was 76 years old. He definitely lost some elasticity, but to play with such accuracy is astonishing!

On my opinion the Best performance of the concerto Italiano is being done by Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. But I cherish so much my intellectual relationship with Sviatoslav. I feel is like my father. I will tolerate anything. A genius that will be properly understood in a century from now.
