Ascenseurs Schlieren de 1967 modernisés par Schindler en 1999

Ah, a classic Schindler mod from around the year 2000. The controller is a BP304 from the German company Böhnke+Partner and the drives are Variodyn, Schindler's own drives. Very nice to see that the original Winches and brake magnets have been kept. Also the big freight lift you show has a very interesting feature: It can relevel manually with doors open! Or at least that once was possible. You could go up about a metre with it so it was levelled with a truck parked in front of it on ground floor so you could load in goods. That's why the doors are so high.

Indeed these elevators were really very beautiful and personally it is my favorite of all my KZbin channel. the freight elevator actually had the particularity of having a very high door on the platform floor precisely for loading trucks, which was really rare because I haven't seen this anywhere else. and the lift also has the particularity of having double automatic swing doors, which is rather unusual for a lift from the 1960s. Unfortunately these elevators are demolished today but they will remain engraved in me for a very long time XD.

@@ElevatorExploration The 40s chain lift from Schindler on my channel also has that functionality. Only on ground floor. But it is nowhere near as high as this one you presented here. I'm glad you documented everything, so now it will remain even after the building has been demolished.

@@TheLiftDragon yes I remember this lift, it surprised me when I saw your video because I knew and saw that some lifts had releveling buttons and moved with the doors open for 10 centimeters but never more.
