I did order it 20 min after it launched on July 5th but sadly it wasn't delivered, like Asendia screwed up bad but the Beauty bay customer support was amazing. So hopefully will get mine soon. Love the looks you did!💖

@@mrsobvious8191 Does your tracking work? If not you should ask them cause in EU normal shipping time is 5 days. In my case the tracking didn't show any updates after departing UK, ended at one point in Spain and from there was sent back. Hope yours arrives soon !

I appreciate you saying "it doesn't have to swatch well as long as it works well" !! I was questioning this palette from the swatches, which conflicted with the praise Beauty Bay palettes can get... so again, thank you!

Yeah I don't know how the swatches are so different from application! I think the shimmers really shine on a more curved surface like a finger or eyelid. And the mattes I guess just build better when tapped on with a brush!

​@MarlieWijn the way the mattes swatch reminds me of Viseart mattes which perform beautifully on the eyes but don't swatch that well.

Also, I've not tried Beauty Bay before, but I think it's neat how their core palette line are like staple color stories such as cool tones, neutrals, rainbow, etc. But then they come with the more creative color stories every once in awhile. 😊

I like matcha, but not obsessed w it. It tastes like grass, but that's what I like about it. However, matcha is like the espresso of green tea. For everyday, I like sencha green tea. But it has to be from Japan bc the quality dive when it isn't is too much. 😅 Since sencha is lighter, it's easy to drink without milk (tho I'm Asian and grew up w lighter teas without milk). This palette doesn't suit my undertone, but it's really nice to hear ur first impression of their quality as someone who loves indie shadows. I look fwd to trying them if they come out w a palette that suits me. 😊🌷

@@ac2055 I love sencha as well! I have a few but I'm actually not sure if they're from Japan.. maybe I'm missing out. But yes if I drink matcha at night I don't sleep 😂

​@@MarlieWijn One of the biggest signs I've noticed on whether a green tea is from Japan without looking at the label is that the tea is a verdant green and not pale yellow after steeping in 85C water (too high and the tea will oxidize to more yellow, plus u lose the antioxidants). Hopefully your green tea is green. 😁🍵🌱

Team matcha with manuka honey or agave syrup all day everyday - matcha on it’s own is too bitter for me although I’m grumpy type of morning person and whenever the situation is dire I make myself some unsweetened matcha to shock my body lol works every time. I really want to try Matcha icecream but I can buy them only in special shops that are hundreds of kilometers away from my home town. Bummer for me. I LOVE the last look and I really love this palette that’s perhaps why I have these colours in my collection already. I wish they did smaller version of it like they used to do with some of their previous palettes because that would make sense for me to buy at least since some shimmers are little bit different from what I own but alas.. we can’t have everything. But hey the positive is that at least I got 3 new inspirational looks from you! Thanks for the video ❤

I love honey with matcha! So delicious 😄 Here matcha ice cream is so trendy, I have it once in a while. But my favorite is definitely matcha bubble tea. Yes a small version could be so cute! I feel like they do that a lot in their permanent range.

You created such fun looks! Lovely! I’ve ordered Botanical too, it arrived today; the box was completely ruined (PostNL did their best to fix it haha) and unfortunately one of the shadows was shattered. Beauty Bay just didn’t pack it very well, hardly any protection, no bubble wrap, just some paper… it’s one of the reasons I don’t like ordering from them. But the palette itself, the color story, absolutely stunning!! It reminded me a bit of the Unearthly Cosmetics Spring Magic palette - but a better version.
