And the winner is the P-25! The P-25 totally annihilates the Air King in every aspect in my mind at least. The P-25 may even be better quality than my Utilitech HV fan. The only difference being that the P 25 can’t be tilted unless you have a box fan stand. I think that the P 25 was sold as speciality box fans at Ace Hardware and such while even back then it was now plastic bladed box fans being sold at Walmart or Kmart, you name it. Even the plastic bladed box fans back then were way better quality. The Lakewood P 25 is a true gem. If it weren’t for me having too many fans already, I may splurge on an old metal oval bladed box fan.

The P-25 is a total gem. And I feels so lucky I bought one new at the time and really only use it in videos and display it. This thing is really a new fan. My only regret which I talk about in videos is not having bought more of them so I would have one to keep as a time capsule.

@ Actually, that’s one of the reasons that I haven’t used my Antique Manning Bowman table fan or my blue Kmart 223. I see them as a time capsule and I have them mainly for nostalgia instead of ventilation.

The motor on the Air King just seems too overpowered for that modern petal blade. An original Lasko petal blade from 1999 I bet would perform much better. Too bad I don't have one I could send you.

Completely agree. I've already swapped it to the HV metal blades. It's like it was made for it! I made a video on it already.
