I've had some people comment on the change in the badge. Do you know what year that occurred?

I made a reversible 3733 I might do that with one of these. What I'm doing will probably not be good for the motor but seems like a neat project.

I am very interested in seeing that. And perhaps how you did it. Do you have a video on it?

Well, now you have you a brand new metal bladed box fan. Those blades may cut into the air better. And, possibly maybe move more air than the other blade set. I now consider your Air King a decent box fan. Also, maybe you could ask around for an Air King HV fan that no longer works. And, then use that oval shaped blade set in that cabinet. Or, buy another Air King box fan and try that.

I've already bought a second Air King fan just like the first one. I want to have a couple on hand before some way some how they get discontinued. At least I can say I have the last decent box fan. I'm open for putting different style metal blades on it. Just need to procure a set or 5!

@ I hear you! I wish that Air King would put a metal blade on the fan to begin with.

It actually goes on the smooth part of the shaft not the flat part I had to learn that lesson you must put it on the smooth part because on the flat part the blade will slide off put it on the smooth part of the shaft but wow that looks good

@ you’re welcome. I had to learn that lesson the hard way I did the same thing you did and so that’s one of the reasons why in the video I was rocking the fan back-and-forth and what I realize was the blade was loose because it was on the flat part , but if you put it on the smooth part of the surface and tighten it up, you won’t have that problem you’re welcome
