I like to take 2 rods myself, I take my prorex 0.5-5 and my 5-15 for the bigger stamp of fish if there about and active, love the channel bud, keep up the great work 🎉

2 rods always better, just not always possible. But yeah, it's nice to have more choice while fishing. Thanks for watching 😁🤝🎣

Not sure if you make it on purpose, but dropshop rig isnt quite right, you should fit weight on end and hook a little higer like 5 inch or whatever you like, mate. Beautiful place, where about you are fishing ?

It's a jika rig not a drop shot rig, it's designed to fish just off the bottom
@ManAndRod3 ай бұрын
Yeah, that's right, it's jika rig. It can be very effective as it goes right near bottom and weight is lifting some dirt from bottom, supposingly making it look more realistic 😁🎣

@ManAndRod it's a great rig for winter time especially I've used it for perch with so good results and in ultra light form it's great for lrf species

So true brother. Is there any particular size what works for you best or you are mixing them?
@Ul.lure.xenial.843 ай бұрын
@ManAndRod I use 0.9, 1.8 and 2.5g with hooks from size 2-10 (decoy, tict, inch hooks and vanfook worm 35b ) these days increases chances with out being to to bulky also gives me decent options for the free rig lure size up to 3in in my case

Sorry m8 but i just dont get it, thats a fish with a size 6 hook and s 7 gram weight that its dragging around, why not use a light trace stops being bitten. This isnt the first vid you have done this or you could flatten the barbs?
@ManAndRodАй бұрын
Not a fan of wire traces. I should use them more often but can't force myself 😅 are you saying i should yse lighter weights? Rivers usually too strong for lighter and hard to present lure in where i want 🤔🎣
@James.grahamEFCАй бұрын
@ManAndRod try titanium traces, you can go a light as you want. I get what your saying but I've caught fish in the past and had to remove 4 hooks from them, just dont think if fair.
@ManAndRodАй бұрын
So true, you're absolutely right, this not fair for fish. Will try force myself to use thin trace or as you said at least to debarbe them. Thanks for pointing that out 👊🎣

Keitech fat fantastic lure just not very durable which is a shame
@ManAndRod3 ай бұрын
So true. Very strange that they are so fragile knowing all technology and materials in these days. There is so many lures which so hard to break. But still, as you said - they are fantastic lures 👊🎣
