By train deep into a salt mine in Switzerland. Hiking in steep Swiss vineyards | Our Camper Trips

We visit the very interesting Alp salt mine near Bex in Switzerland. A small train, with claustrophobic small waggons, takes us 1.600 meters into the mountain. Here we walk around in the old mine, which is the oldest salt mine in Switzerland where Alp salt is still found. We also had time for a short hike into the forest and the vineyards near Bex. We could stay in our camper for free for the night after asking nicely in the reception.
