I am a severely vision impaired stitcher who uses a blind cane. I think the large pattern will be perfect to use as a cozy place for my folding blind cane! There is a huge need for a case for canes in order to keep dirty canes off tables and counter tops. I won’t need the pockets except for a place to put a small laminated ID card. I look forward to making this case for myself, and maybe others at my blind center.

Annie, You don't know me, but I know you from back when you made your yellow guide on measurements with everything, we needed to know about how to figure out how much fabric we needed for different sized quilts etc. I was living in Cedar City, UT. at that time. I started teaching poeple to quilt and actually was offered a chance to go on the road and teach. I am addicted to quilting. Poeple asked if they could copy your yellow pamphlet and I treat others the way I want to be treated. I honered your request. I gave them your email. Then I already could figure out what they needed because I had made so many quilts. Linda Brown was my quilter because I am a perfectionist and I knew whatever she did I would love. I became ill with M.S. Sytemic Lupus and C.I.D.P and ended up in a wheelchair. My travels went out the door. This was a long time ago. I had been through much chemotherapy. Now I'm checking out you zipper technique because they are new to me. I have lost Linda as my quilter. I'm sick about it, because I'm a perfectionist and so is she. I know she was getting sick of some of the quilts poeple brought to her. I said "you have so many to do, weed out those poeple, just tell them you are too backed up". I don't have anything important for her to do right now, but I'm going to get in touch with her again and see if I can get her to do one now and then. I just wanted to thank you for the zipper idea because I do make bags. I will be making, jewelry, and travel bags. Along with decorative couch pillows of different sizes and designs. I want to put zippers on them like yours so that they can be cleaned. Once again I thank you for your talent. Ann Johnson

I must say I am extremely disappointed in this pattern. I have sewn other patterns from by annie. But the small version is awful. I checked other videos and they said the same thing. Bias is too long and a real struggle to get it under the foot of the machine due to bulk even with trimming. 😢
