A nice minimal halo is my favorite too for a pear shape diamond ! Round has always been and still is my absolute favorite cut of diamond but if I had to pick a 2nd choice it would absolutely be a pear shape ! ❤

I have a pear shaped solitaire and LOVE it!! I originally purchased my ring online THEN discovered your channel and decided to go local, best decision!! You are so right about the online diamonds and being able to really see the real diamond versus a rendered one, not the same! So I had already ordered the ring online and couldn’t cancel so once it arrived and i compared it to the one the local jeweler procured, no comparison!! The return was a pain because although the return was free, I had to pay for insurance on a pretty expensive ring so my mistake for rushing and not reading the fine print. Anyhow, once I learned about ratios and saw how different ratios looked on my finger, I was able to make a more informed decision with the help of my jeweler. Just like the fruit, I like a plump juicy pear, so my preference is a 1.50ish ratio so it’s a bit chubby 🍐💎 Since I wanted to keep my original wedding band which was a pave style, the jeweler made sure my new ring/setting and my original wedding band paired together, which doesn’t happen when you order online! The online ring covered my wedding band , which I did not like. If I didn’t have my chubby pear, then my next favorite is oval and of course round. Love your videos and all the knowledge you share with us!! ❤❤❤❤
