I feel like I missed the first step of embroidery, because I didn't start on flowers or words. I just jumped right in to starting my first project with a full blown Anime character. Its turned out great tho.

Would love to see your top 20 thread colours!!! Got started in embroidery and finding it hard to get delicate details but enjoying it
@mishellesuniverse46202 жыл бұрын
Use an amount of thread that is controllable like 1 or 2 strings at a time, that really helps getting delicate stitches.

Hi Chloe! Love you channel, it has really inspired me to start learning how to embroider❤️ do you put something extra in the back of the embroidery pieces that you sell (to cover the threads)? Or do you just live ir like that as clean as possible?
@Pathrissia3 жыл бұрын
I never manage to cut long enough thread. I tried the arm's length but it doesn't always work. What's your advice to store/do with the short pieces that I end up with?

Non-embroidery related comment but do you find that your Mejuri jewelry tarnished easily? I really want the pearl necklace you have on but wasn't sure of the quality!
@byCHLOEWEN4 жыл бұрын
It depends on the piece!! I wear their solid gold pieces which don’t tarnish at all! If you get the pearl necklace I would suggest upgrading the chain to solid gold if you want it to last forever!
@byCHLOEWEN4 жыл бұрын
I haven’t had any problems with the actual vermeil chain though with the pearl necklace! I just make sure to take it off to exercise and shower! And don’t spray perfume on it!

Heyy. Anybody got tips to get good and how to not be too "unhappy" when its not perfect
@MariaRevArt3 жыл бұрын
Tips to get good: take your time with the stitches when you are still learning, practice - just make embroideries, use youtube tutorials if you need help figuring out stitches. Not being unhappy when its not perfect: remind yourself that you are learning and it likely won't be perfect as you are starting, handmade isn't going to be perfect - that's what makes it handmade, perfection is overrated I hope these help a little.

How do I use a stabilizer?
@jzellie34414 жыл бұрын
I didn’t see this question so When I embroidered I get sweaty easily and it’s hard to pull the needle and it causes my fingers to start hurting easily or quicker than others I guess. Is there any fix to this or some sort of management? I’m thinking of getting finger tape but idk if that would help. Thank you
@gray84584 жыл бұрын
for me usually i take my clothes or any fabric near you and then pull the needle while the fabric is hugging (wrapping) the needle
