That's completely wrong. The 34, 141 and SL1 are getting BD11s, it's literally in the video you've just commented on... The 102, 141, 144 and 123 aren't out yet so no one knows if they'll be getting electrics. The 243 and 341 are getting BZLs. The 319 does use Enviro 400 EVs but they aren't the temporary allocation of the 50, that's just rares. The NBFL routes are staying though.

I saw some images of BYD11's with different bodywork spec, both for Superloop and standard routes, none with windowed staircase specification so far and I gotta say.. They're even worse looking than the promo mules. Such a shame they're being ordered in such large numbers. I really hope Abellio Transport UK and Arriva South London opts for either Enviro 400 EV or Yutong U11DD's. Quite possibly the worst looking double deckers I have seen in over a decade. I would rather BYD used SRM bodies.

TUK seems to prefer wright over other companies and I can’t agree more, the buses are quick and brake well. Perfect for routes like the 111.

@@naijiktom Electrics can do the SL7 now sadly. It's been confirmed to be going electric and it's not being cut as was proposed. It's a shame as iirc TfL said they would've allowed it to be awarded with new hybrids instead of electrics, but that was last year

HV1-9; HV19; HV21-24; HV26; HV29/31 have all been withdrawn and presumably scrapped as there’s no news on where those withdrawn HVs have headed after leaving BN so I presume it’s been scrapped especially the 09 regs.

the 14 reg HVs have already been refurbished between 2020-2021, they’ve got Arriva seats and have been repainted to a fresh red paint that’s still intact but still got orange poles and they won’t be receiving another refurb as they’re going to the 3 year contracts on the 150/175. The other newer 17/67 HVs going to the 66/103/329/370 will be refurbished and some of Tottenham’s HVs have already been refurbished

Yeah the ex Stagecoach Gemini 3 Mk1s are fantastic buses. It makes sense since Arriva were able to retain the 66, 150, 175, 370 and 329 with the hybrids coming off the 34, 243, 141 and 341 and will probably use the HAs off the SL1 for something.

Yeah it's great that Arriva are reusing their hybrids and it's good because now while the 243, 341, 34 and 141 are releasing Gemini 3s, more routes will be saved from converting to electric since the routes at AD and AR have high PVRs

Surprised that 150/175 are getting ex SC 14 regs instead of frogfaces seeing as there’s enough frogfaces from 34/141/243/341 for the 66/103/150/175/329/370, I guess the rest of the frogfaces can be used to fully convert the 123 and maybe convert the 102 fully and withdraw the G2s.

Yeah it's good that they aren't throwing them away after this though. I think it's smart that the 150 and 175 are getting them since iirc they're on 3 year contracts so can use the 14 plates. I would rather they use older buses on 3 year contracts too.

@@MostlyBuses1 Yeah true that does make more sense tbf. I’m guessing if DX will lose the 150/175 at the end of the 3 year contract seeing as they can’t get electrics probably lose them to SC or GAL. SL2 will 100% be lost as SL routes have to be retained with electrics, I could see SL2 going to SC from LI.

It's like how the 223 was extended to Harrow View to make space for the SL10. Sadly, the 367 got cut back to that desolate stop in West Croydon (Delta Point) so that the SL7 could stand at West Croydon.

@@MostlyBuses1HA1 I think it’s a hybrid spare and enabled to go on the 34/102/141 but I don’t think they’re blinded as the SL1/SL2 HAs just had inserts added for the SL1/SL2 to be added and not fresh blindsets. The SL2’s HAs still have Brixton (BN)’s blinds such as the 19, 50, 59, 133, 319, 333 and then the SL2 but don’t have the 150/175 blinded and the SL1’s HAs still have Ash Grove (AE)’s blinds such as the 78, 106, 254 and then SL1 but don’t have the 34/102/141 blinded as they’re old blindsets especially the 65 reg which have old style number and destination blinds as the ‘254’ number looks very thin. The 65 reg HAs have actually only done the 254 a few times, a couple of times in 2015/2016 then just a few times between 2017-2021, once in 2022/23 and then again in 2024 for refurb floats

the 29 was retained in January 2020 and has reportedly had a 2 year extension taking the current contract with the 13 reg HVs until January 2027 so don’t worry you’ve got plenty of time with the 29 and it’s Gemini 2s. Otherwise the 29’s tender would’ve been announced by now as routes like the 99/269/401/422 which have tender dates in January 2025 were already announced months ago. The 29, 301, 335 and 432 will likely be the last Arriva routes to have Gemini 2 Hybrids as the 133/333 were lost earlier this year in January, 50 is going electric, 141 is going electric and the 144’s tender result is pending as it uses a small amount of 62/13 reg HVs and will likely be retained with newer hybrids such as the 65 reg HAs.

Tbf Arriva took a battering for a while up until recently. They lost the 133/333, lost the 78 and 242 too but have recently gained the 196/SL6 and retained a lot of other routes

@@MinionRBX4 That's actually what Arriva (and TUK) have been doing down in south London (Norwood specifically). The 468's HVs have been retrofitted with USBs, Wood effect flooring, LED blinds and the future spec iBus which is absolutely amazing! For some reason though, Arriva London North have not been adding these features on AR's refurbed HVs...
