Great going. Good product. Finally a Challenging Innova product. Would take 5 years of continuous improvements to beat the Innova quality. Then this can go for personal cars. Hope the battery cost & tech would improve enormously in next 5 years to bring out a personal car with practical real range EV

Zigwheels taking their own time, not something I am usually happy about. But the thing is, this is the best review yet (should I even be surprised anymore?). All bases are covered (even luggage :D) and everything has been explained so well (again a zigwheels std). Job well done :D Coming back to the E6, on my recent trip to Goa, I was surprised to see so many of Olectra e-buses plying on the highway. A lil googling revealed they are BYDs. They were doing good speeds too with all that load. Needless to say then their tech is tested on road in India. The non controversial styling also will keep ppl happy. The headlight though are very very similar (not same) as Crysta, even the overall front reminds me of it. The rear though visually different reminds me of Marazzo for some reason. With a range like that, it can easily be a very good alternative for large families, I think that is something BYD should look into. My only grouse is the middle low that is quite low. Since they have large enough headroom, they could have mounted the seats a bit higher. With EVs sales picking up speeds, I am hoping to see more of the E6s atleast on the highways. Hope BYD makes these available to aam junta too and soon.

For our Indian consumer market the only main criteria is cost and looks. Take for example the mobile market, Indian companies are nowhere to be found and Chinese companies like Oneplus, oppo, Mi, and Realme dominate. Tata and Mahindra are great companies ngl but cheap brands like Suzuki and Korean brands take most of the cake.

I think ZigWheels made an biased Review of this car. Deliberately stressing on minute plus point the BYD car had and simply broomed the dust down on every essential and basic features a car under 15 lakh have which this 29 lakh bulky fat BYD e6 misses out with huge margin. Just with a sharp copy of MG headlights doesn't make it nice, sleek and smart. Nothing that made an impression. Just 4 speaker bc... Are you kidding. Zigwheels should need to be honest with their viewer and fans.

I think its beyond your intellectual ability to understand the economic benefit of EV....this MPV is for the fleet car owners not for your personal ownership....so luggage space is very important...not 2 more cramped xtra seats with miniscule luggage space...important things are its astounding range, warranty on battery (which is superb) and potential cost saving per kilometer which is more than Rs 5(if you know a little bit of math which I doubt you knw) ....so to fleet car owners its a very good option. And car handling seems good enough from this video....so no nonsense EV car which can move toe to toe with ICE cars.

The economics of owning a fleet and running it profitable will be dead against EV tech and the reasons for it a) It is range bound. Forget about out station rides and the hassles of charging will scare the passengers. b) No sensible fleet owner will buy a newly launched product ever. They always buy tried and tested stuff. Reliability and maint costs are key here not to mention the down time for repairs. C) Charging stations. Do I need to say more? d) Cost of the car itself. Where will this car fit in? If the fleet owner decides to run economy cars will he buy a dezire or etios for around 8 to 10 L or this white elephant for 30L? On the contrary if he buys keeping in mind the luxury segment will the passenger book this joke or a C class? A car that cost 10L will cost 3 lacs after 10 years but for EV after 10 years the cost of changing bty is 60 to 70 percent of the cars cost and even after spending that money will the car be reliable? e) This will be used as 5 seater MPV? Is that a joke? Why do you think boleros, taveras, Qualises and the mighty Innovas are a success in fleet market? and let's not get into the handling part of you are talking about fleet ownership. 2. Coming to my mathematical knowledge- A Question for you. Name a car which is value for money compared to the ICE counterpart. The answer is Zero. Not even Tesla. EVs are still way far in the value department and will take a while for toe to toe with ICE cars my dear. They are a foot behind now. 3. Before slinging shit get schooled first else you will be drowned in that shit.🤣 Finally the argument lies in wether if this cars gonna be successful let it sell in triple digits like i mentioned.
