Thank you, KZbin and other news channels for recommending my video to the US audience. It's fascinating to witness the impact of my review on a small Chinese electric car, stirring discussion and insights. Your comments offer interesting perspectives on the US market and consumer behaviour. Please kindly remember, that it's not this car that threatens your automotive industry, but rather a lack of innovation, dynamism, and competition in the market. -- Jerry

Did you know that electricity comes from diesel powered generators? In other words, EVs are inefficient because lithium must be mined using massive "dirty" excavators and dump trucks. You need to mine hundreds of tons of dirt just to make one battery. Then, EVs have to be charged from the grid, which requires additional carbon based generators to produce electricity. It's already proven that gasoline cars are cleaner than EVs. There is no such thing as a Zero Emissions Car, all EVS are just a massive scam!

Cheap chinese EVs are a massive threat to America's economy. Using slave labor that is substandard to America to undercut the American car market. I blame the politicians for destroying our economy by transferring our jobs and wealth to China. Meanwhile, China steals all of our intellectual property. The CCP is no friend of America.

The same was said about Japanese cars in the 80s and Korean cars in the 90s. Now they have flooded the US market.
@gregv28215 ай бұрын
I need to clarify that I’m referring only to the US market. The Japanese and Korean imports you mentioned were garbage then and did not flood the market until the car manufacturers improved them, made them larger and more powerful, utilizing more quality materials. The first iterations of Hyundai, for example, were junk. You can’t even make the same comparison with this cheap Chinese garbage. This will not fly in the USA.
@zipzip58075 ай бұрын
@@JerryPanandCars Japanese cars made in the 80s are far better quality and last far longer than any new EV will ever last. You should see the EVs flooding or piling up on the dealer lots in America. The people have finally figured out that EVs are a scam. EVs wouldn't exist if the government didn't subsidize the market with my tax dollars. It's called communism, or wealth redistribution.
@brentthompson28935 ай бұрын
I'd say the growing popularity of stupidly over sized SUVs and pickups is much more indicative of what a mess the world has become than a sensible little low cost EV. Cars are getting ridiculous, and it's good to see something going against the trend. For the millions of people who average less than 100km a day and don't carry much more than four people and some shopping, this is more than enough.
@gregv28215 ай бұрын
@@brentthompson2893 EVs are not good for the environment. There is ample well-sourced documentation to back this up. Thankfully, more people aren’t buying into the BS and that’s why the EV market is collapsing despite the government’s dogged attempts at making it relevant in the form of subsidies. Thank God for the free market. If it was up to the systems of government, we would all be clunking around in these pieces of junk and the environment wouldn’t be any better off.
