Nvidia is better in Raytracing for MOST times, but 7900xt has stepped up the raytracing and usually competes in games with RT such as Alan Wake 2, and GTA V. 4070 is way better if you're using it for content creation (editing videos, streaming, rendering with blender) Now 7900XT does about 35% better then the 4070TI and 4070TI super with ultra graphic settings on MW II. VRAM capability is insane with the 7900XT and gonna be future proof, its 20gb vs 12gb. 7900XT is great for pure gaming, so what this creator says makes somewhat sense because he used it for content, which is not AMDs fault. He should have researched it more then. Either way, both cards are amazing and will do both jobs, just that one is better then the other with specific tasks.

@get2choppa429 Had an AMD for years during lockdown needed a new card 3070Ti was the only choice available unless I wanted to wait months, beginning Oct traded in and bought a 6950XT way better performance and zero memory issues unlike the theirves at Nvidea that think a solid gaming card shoukd only have 8gb memory, these should have been 8gb std 3070 maybe even 12gb with the Ti version at 16gb, the power 3060 should def have been 8gb with the 306 Ti at least 12gb but maybe still 16gb . Go on convince us all nvidea are not shafting gamers by having far too low memory on their gaming cards for the masses. The 3080 should have been 16gb std with the Ti etc being 20gb maybe the final variant at 24gb and so on through the 3090. Till they stop this garbage they will never be the best option as they put greed over loyalty.

I said *BYE* To the 4070 ti, got a 7900 xt and never looked back. Games instead of running at 40-45fps at 4k now run at 60. Still play any ray traced title with great performance, even in cyberpunk at 1440p. And I no longer have Vram issues I kept running into. BYE indeed.

Going to be used for game streaming and video editing for my oldest son. I myself am surviving till Ryzen 8000 and will pair that with a 7900 as well. I do mostly video and music production. AMD cards are great they give you high performance for a lower price than Nvidia AMDs Raytracing performance and fsr is worse than team green but what you lose there you make up for in money and pure rasterization their drivers have gotten a lot better they use to be kinda bad but I haven’t had any problems with my 7900xt and I’ve had it for 8 months if you do not care about Raytracing I would definitely go with an AMD GPU or if you have 2 grand to waste on a GPU get a 4090

How you say NOTHING in a video. So you downgraded from a current gen card the 7900XT, to a previous gen 3090Ti, why not gate the 6950XT very close in performance but way cheaper. You are either sponsored (most likely) or far more money than brainsso if thats the case I recommended a min of triple 4090's also dua. Threadripper card with 8 DIMM slots get someone to build you a custom case out of 24k goldmight as well go all in the sooner a fool is seperated from their money the better for everyone else.

I bought a 7900XT.. and it works great lol all i do is game. Ray tracing is cheeks with the card tho.. but even if i had a steong RT card from nvidia i wouldnt use it.. i value frames more in the games i play. Maybe if i was into immersive single player games id care for it more.

Raytracing is fine on it, it's about on par with 3080-3090 in RT, so not as good as the 40 series in RT but for most people it doesn't matter. Who would pay hundreds of dollars more just for a minor feature like that

i actually don’t agree with this at all. timeline performance for me has been on par with the 4080. Export times are 10 seconds longer on average but my experience has been great. honestly i don’t see a difference from my 4080

yeah lack of cuda cores is the only flaw of radeons but amd announced they will make their own cuda cores with 8000 series. but even casuals now radeons dont have cuda cores although even 6000 series can be used in ADOBE softwares (i use it myself) and even blender, sure it works slower but from 6900xt to 7900xt there is a big improvement and radeon DIDNT have to do such improvement , they could re-release cards with 20% improvement in games like nvidia and sell it for more money but now, 7900 xt costs like 6900 xt year ago

I kind of did this exact thing, i owned a 7900xtx for about a week, gamed amazing, but when trying to stream, even at all proper settings and tuning, streams wouldnt look the best, only on youtube will you get that crisp quality because you can higher your bitrate. And there was also me switching to amd at the time of the driver update 23.10.1 and not knowing anything about the anti lag feature and getting banned on csgo and apex. Never had that issue with nvidia 😅
