I'm kinda new to Destiny 2, only started when TFS came out, and I asked a friend what's a good gun for pvp, he said whatever gun you feel that does the aiming for you. Then I ran gambit and got a zen and highground roll, and its my go to for pvp, got my first solo flawless in trials thanks to it.

I still think I like Battle Scar better for Shoot to Loot and Tremors because the higher RPM means that Tremors triggers more quickly. Its stats aren’t great, but I don’t find it to be much of an issue in PvE.

Grinded gambit the past weekend whilst losing my sanity and couldn’t find any video of the recoil tips so I was testing it myself and glad to know that I had the same conclusion. But fair to mention that zen moment even with base recoil is an absolute beam so I’m still figuring out if I want to stick with ballistics or swap to counterbalance.

When you mentioned how Kinetic Weapons need more competition for Tremors? You're 100% right! Tremors x Firefly on Midnight Coup absolutely blows even some of my favourite HC's out of the water, even ones I prefer the feeling of! It goes for nearly every Kinetic Weapon I have! Firefly could cause Scorch? We need some more add clear + bonus damage perks or buffs to already available perks big time!

Have high ground, keep away - 0.6 ttk, 70 stab, 88 range (38.4m falloff) - basically a better, easier to use High Impact, love it so much! Went ballistics to juice stats more and actually found combo of really high stab and base recoil able to group bursts very closely, found arrowhead with the stat decrease felt too bouncy for my liking, will consider and try counterbalance. First game with it had B on lock entire game, 30 kills 4 K/D, other team just gave up trying to take.

High Ground is so good, especially once you realize how many of D2's maps play around with verticality. Even if you're not doing it intentionally, chances are you're bound to end up above an opponent eventually, and then it's cleanup time.

I like Bygones so much that I hung on to the one old roll I had of it up until this season- and that roll had Full Auto Trigger System on it. I'm psyched it finally got reissued so I can have one with two functional perks again.

Maybe I'm weird. I like having a consistent recoil pattern, regardless of left or right movement. Makes it easy to train wrist/arm and truly get good at aiming. Not rely on stability stats to do it for you

My baby is back and better than it was before. Bygones is one of my favorite kinetic pulse rifles in the game to use. I still have my OG one that rolled with headseeker and rampage on it. It’s such a beast.

I'm on console and I must say....the recoil pattern at 69 doesn't bother me at all...used CB first but switched to Ballistics. Zen/KA + HG...it slays. Awesome video as always my good Sir!

I got super lucky last week when Xur sold 3 gambit engrams. First roll was subsistence+firefly, second was shoot to loot+kinetic tremors and the third one was outlaw+kill clip. I guess I can spare myself from gambit this time. Though I may run it to get a better subs+firefly roll, the mag and barrel options from the one I got are a bit meh, but for PvE are mostly irrelevant.

I got a godly drop my first match of gambit week one with Polygonal, flared Mattel, keep away, desperado, and stability masterwork and I didn’t even notice the recoil problems because the stability is so high. 86 stability after the ballistics mod and the gun just feels amazing to use. Been using it in pve and never thought I’d use a keep away gun in pve. Highly recommend this gun all the way Ps. It’s sticky in pvp too

I reset gambit for the first time in a long time last lol saved my engrams and got a couple of rolls i want to use. Got my main roll with loot/demo + kenetic tremors! A demo + firefly and than a lone wolf + closing time I want to try in PvP. Overall I'm really excited for the gun since it's one of my all time favorites!

I have a roll with Zen Moment and Desperate Measures. Normally I don't care about DM, but with THIS gun, it brings the ttk down with one stack to a very competitive level. I'd rather have headseeker, but alas, rolled like 50 of them and haven't gotten the right combo yet.

I have some bangers! But my fav. Is keep away, high ground, Rico, and I switch between fluted and arrow! Oh and range master! Maybe the best gun I’ve ever used! Also have a zen high ground but reload mw! When they nerf high ground I have a keep away desperate measures roll too. Best gun in the game!

Pretty much only gonna use a damage perk roll because I think syncopation zen headseeker and cleaner sight with more zoom is better for straight up dueling. Plus you can use counterbalance and the ballistics mod for 100 recoil on synco.

there's a few weapons now that have attrition orbs and an rpm perk like desperado or onslaught, which is interesting to me, but the one i'm really looking out for is attrition orbs/cascade point. it'd be perfect to just swap to, unload, and get an orb or two. although now it seems like why bother when we have the dungeon gl 😭

For the longest time, I ran with an Under Pressure/Kill Clip roll in PvE. She was one of the first Legendaries I got and the sheer joy I got out of using her carried all the way to sunsetting, then she came back out for Final Shape when Sunsetting got Sunset. And now I can actually get one with up to date busted perks? Heck yeah. Question though - does it take 2 resets to get double perks in both columns? One reset in and I've only gotten doubles in column 3, and I really want to try for some pair-up combos.

Lone wolf seems a little too strong… it’s like snapshot plus moving target as one perk. The fact you can get it alongside opening shot on the new sniper is a little over the top imo. That’s like 4 perks 😆

I got my chase roll after NINE gambit prestige’s. It’s demo firefly/perpetual kill clip. It’s so good. I have shoot to loot and kinetic on another roll and that’s great for higher end content.
