How much marks you have scored in prelims sir ?

I started my preparation in August 2016. I basically started with static parts (Followed NCERT books and also books provided by the Byju's classes). Apart from the static part, I daily followed the current affairs (Followed both Byjus DNA and Insight IAS daily current affairs). It is important to prepare for the mains along with the prelims preparation. So, I followed the Byju's IAS and INSIGHT IAS for mains answer practice. Some Do's and Don'ts are as follows: Do's 1. It is necessary to read the newspaper (I preferred The Hindu Paper) before watching the news analysis for better understanding. 2. Kindly make short notes of the daily news analysis and also practice the mains answer writing in the separate book. 3. Apart from the newspaper, it is necessary to study Yojana and Kurukshetra magazine. It will be helpful in mains answer writing. 4. Follow the PIB website for various ministries schemes/policies/any other event. 5. It is important to note that current affairs are the backbone of UPSC. Hence, it must be followed daily. 6. Kindly study the Economic survey and India Yearbook (It seems to be more but, all the chapters are not important) 7. Kindly watch the RSTV news (IN-DEPTH, THE BIG PICTURE, INDIA'S WORLD, AND SCIENCE MONITOR PROGRAMME). It is very useful in mains answer writing. 8. It is necessary to take Prelims and Mains test series after completing the self-study. (Take test series in any online coaching websites. I suggest Byju's or Insight IAS) Don'ts 1. Instead of referring many UPSC coaching websites, better to stick to one or two websites (Preferred BYJU'S OR INSIGHT IAS). 2. Do not study throughout the day. Daily max.6-7 hrs study is sufficient. 3. Do not lose the self-confidence. Smart way of studying is better than hard work!!

Manuf and industry in total contribute around 25 - 30% of gdp while MSME SECTOR contributes around 30% of manf gdp so 8% of overall GDP.
