SIR PLEASE EVALUATE MY ANSWER INDIA'S EFFORTS IN IMPLEMENTING PROJECT TIGER India has 75% of world's tiger population. The country has taken various steps in tiger conservation since 1973 with the implementation of Project Tiger. According to 2004-05 reports India's project tiger became a failure. But then PM of India in 2005 established NTCA under wildlife protection act 1972 for implementing project tiger. In 2010 India has signed St Petersberg convention on doubling Tiger's population till 2022. Now India has 50 tiger reserves which are aiming to conserve tiger on core/buffer model. This model is used by UNESCO for biosphere reserves. In India Tiger population is evaluated since 2010 by joint efforts of WII and NTCA after every 4 years. And India has seen a major jump in increasing tiger population due to its efforts of Project Tiger. As the tiger reserves not only play an important role in tiger conservation but also help in carbon sequestration, improve the livelihood of dwelling communities over there, promote ecotourism and save timber . Conclusion:- Due to Indian government continuous efforts India has the highest tiger population. India's judicious involvement in various conventions related to environment, flora and fauna protection is helping in protecting our environment and leading to sustainable development as well.

Please kindly review: According to the report on “status of tigers in India-2018”, India has registered a phenomenal success in its tiger conservation program. The data reveals about the presence of 2967 tigers in the wild. This success in conserving the ‘endangered’ animal can be attributed to the implementation of “project tiger”. + The project tiger was launched in 1973 in the back drop of rapid decline in the tiger’s population. + The programme has led to the creation of around 50 tiger reserves by creating protected habitat areas. + Creation of tiger task force in 2006 to recommend disciplinary measures for the project. + The establishment of the NTCA in 2005 gave a boost to the program. + coordination between WII and NTCA helped in publishing the first report on tiger census.{2006- 1144 tigers }. + By adopting the core buffer model, the program led to proper and accurate counting of the wild animal. +led India to become the only nation with the highest tiger population which is also its national animal. + In order to save the national animal from getting extinct, India also signed the St. Petersburg declaration.{ double tiger population by 2022}. The project tiger has also added significant value in conservation of environment as a whole. { carbon sequestration, eco-tourism, etc }. This project has set an example for the international organisations towards sustainable development.{ UNESCO- conserving biosphere reserves.}.

As per the discussion NTCA was formed on the recommendations of Tiger task force, so it should be in 2006.

Tiger is an umbrella species which if protected, leads to conservation of whole ecosystem. Recent report of Tiger Census 2018 shows India's achievement in tiger conservation. Total number of tigers which were 1411 in 2006, now have reached to 2967 in 2018 tiger census. India recognised the importance of tiger in its habitat and launched Project Tiger in 1973. India's efforts with respect to Tiger conservation can be understood as follows:- * For effective implementation of project tiger and containing the declining numbers of tiger, National Tiger Conservation Authority was established in 2005. It is responsible for managing Tiger reserves. * India adopted UNESCO's core/buffer model to manage tiger reserve and reducing man animal conflicts. * It has been actively participating in International meetings of tiger range countries and ensuring effective implementation of St. Petersburg declaration of doubling tiger numbers by 2022 with respect to 2010. * It has been working with it's neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh to manage tigers movement. * Regular Census of Tigers is ensured in every four years for effective monitoring of numbers. * Tiger's relocation efforts are being made to ensure genetic diversity and wide range presence of tiger. * Corridors for movement of tigers from one protected area to another are there which reduces Man-animal conflicts. Thus India which has 75% of world tiger population, ensured conservation of the species through effective implementation of Project Tiger.

Yes! India can proudly profess to the world that it has attained a big victory in in its big step in the conservation of big cats. India alone is home to around 75% of the tigers in the world. its indeed its pride. And this pride brings in the sense of responsibility to conserve these fierce looking scarce animals in the forest. Yes india has registered a phenomenal leap of success in conserving the tigers from meagre 1411 in 2006 to commendable 2976 in 2018 according to the estimation by the ALLL INDIA TIGER ESTIMATION 2018. This big leap hasnt come ease. it was the result of the small steps collective taken by the government, community and various organisations together in solidarity to achieve back patting success. This story story of the success starts from the fear and concern that had emerged in the india and the world across due to declining numbers of these great hunters of the wild because of hunting by the hunters of the civilian society( humans), poaching, trading, and also due to various diseases, natural calamities, shrinking forest due to encroaching concrete forests and other human wild conflict . The alarming decline in the number of big cats arose the government in taking steps in conserving the tigers. steps taken to conserve the tigers: 1) Project tiger 2) reserve forest and stratification of the forest 3)Tiger task force 4) establishment of National tiger conservation authority 5) Initiation of AITE 6)St. Peterburgs declaration. This highly aspiring project to conserve the tigers in india kick started in india in 1973. Under this forest were redesignated as tiger reserves to press more focus on the conservation of the tigers in various belts across the country. Though started with better hope and great ambition. It failed to meet its aspiration and hence it was a failure. But yet realising that the failure is the stepping stone for a success, government under manmohan singh the then pm in 2005-06 geared up to strengthen its strategies in the form of TIGER TASK FORCE which was was constituted to conserve tiger. In this regard National Tiger conservation authority was formed in 2005 to act as a nodal points in executions of various activities in the conservation of tigers. Inline with the St peterburgs declaration signed by 13 countries including india targetting to increase the number of tigers double the number by 2022 as that of in 2010. India celebrates its victory in almost reaching its target. This bring a sense of hope to the world which is not owned by human but of which he is just a part, the hope of harmony of the man and the wild. Remember, Conserving the wild is neither the greatness of humans not the great contribution to the wild. But it itself is a step towards the conservation of the human being ourselves as we live in the world of web of interconnections and interdependence between the various stockholders of the glorious earth. Any small pit that we dig may well become the tomb for the human race. So let live and let live.

In comprehensive news analysis about GI it is written that GI is covered as element of IPRs under Paris convention for protection of industrial policy And on the other hand governed by WTO's TRIPS ... so answer should be Paris agreement .. And if I am wrong den pls correct me ..
@BYJUSIAS5 жыл бұрын
Geographical Indications protection is granted through the TRIPS Agreement of WTO. The Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property (1883) does provide the basis for IP laws but in the question the option given is Paris Agreement (under Climate Change convention) and not Paris Convention on Industrial Property. So TRIPS Agreement is the correct answer.
With the recent survey it has been found that india has increased its tigers (IUCN status is endagered)to around 3000 which is phenomen jump.Pench tiger reserve,MP have the most tiger in india Project tiger -it was started in 1973 under ministry of environment forest and climate change when india signed st.pettursberg convenction( 29th july is celebrated tiger day in this regard) - establish to safeguard the national animal of india by making parks and reserves for the same - in 2005 national tiger regulatory authority(NTRA) was set up to have check on the tiger declining population.It is now the sole authority who take care and regulate measures for tiger protection. -since its inception tiger reserves has been increased from just 7 to 50 in 2019. - it us core/buffer strategy which has impacted poaching or other human interference as well. - with better performance and strick rules india now accounts for around 50% of the world tigers. With growing measures toward tigers and protecting their habitat india has showcase its priorities toward flora and fauna. These steps by india has also helped it to contribute around 4000 to 16000 crore in GDP by eco tourism and other means.

Project Tiger is a tiger conservation programme launched in April 1973 by the Government of India during Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's tenure. It has nearly 75% of tiger population ,Due to the failure of project tiger during 1973-2006. Prime Minister manmhoan singh established NTCA IN 2005 , tiger task force was appointed to constitue project tiger and many tiger reserves in india . in 2010 st . peturburg declaration to project tiger was adopted by 13 countries and target it to double the tiger population in wild by 2022 . the project tiger coverage has incresed to 50 tiger reseves in 18 tiger range state . the core and buffer startegy implemented by NTCA and WPA and census were taken out after every 4 years and the reduce factors that lead to the depletion of tiger habitats and to mitigate them by suitable management , this is how india has shown major increase tiger population . data as follows central indian and gangetic plains and western ghats performed best in 2018 , central indian plains and gangetic plains in 2014 was 688 now in 2018 it is 1033 and westerghats in 2014 was 776 now in 2018 it is 981 . From turning hunting grounds to tiger reserves, India has shown its magic of conserving wildlife in general. they have also updated the acts regarding forest and wildlife. any kind of illegal trading of animals has been banned. human interference in any of the reserves and forests is not allowed. a proper habitat has been created for the Tigers to hunt, live and survive. the world has recognised this project as the ‘Most successful project’. The project is still going on and will continue until the Tigers don’t come out of the endangered species category.
