This is why they think there's a patriarchy - because when they try to create that value and fail, they think there's some secret boy's club. I then went on to create 2 companies, and one of them hit a value of 3.5 million in 2 years. Again, I was just lucky because I was man according to the women. Skill, hard work and sacrifice apparently had nothing to do with it. I admit that God's blessings are upon me, but still a person must be responsible with the gifts our Lord gives us.

Well today I decided to listen to some of his shows and I teared up, but it felt good hearing his voice and the theme song. Y’all know what mean. On his live streaming days when you’re waiting for the show to start and that theme song comes on… you start doing a little jig and you get excited because you know it’s going to be a great show. That’s how I felt tonight listening to the old shows. I got so immersed in his content for a moment I forgot he was gone. Uncle Kevin, for a moment , was alive and well and asking those key questions… how tall or you, dress size, etc. Even though I had listened to this show before, I was still enjoying. He was alive and doing his thing…. and then cold reality crept in, he’s gone😢. It felt like he died all over again. I miss him. It feels like he’s been gone for awhile yet it’s only been two weeks. Kevin thanks for putting the spotlight on how society views stepfathers. I was married for 12 years and raised my a stepson. His father lived less than 20 miles away but wasn’t in his life (visiting him twice a year). I prayed with and for him, and raised him from ages 5 to 19. I taught him how to work, save/invest, drive, manage a house, get into college, etc. I attend all his sporting events, school activities, parent conferences, etc. I didn’t do it for praise but I genuinely wanted him to be his best and have what most black boys don’t have.. fatherhood. With all that said, his mother hated when I held him accountable, corrected, or disciplined him. She was fine with me as long as I didn’t correct him. She’d get mad at me for wanting to discipling him, instead of at him for the stupid things he’d do (dropped out of college, laziness, etc.). It was a major factor in my separation/divorce. My stepfather experience was a nightmare. Maybe not everyone’s experience, but being a stepdad is tougher than most realize.

Facts, millennials grew up on hip-hop in the bling bling era and mtv cribs. Then gen-z is growing up in the social media era. You really have a lot of people out here that believe that if their life doesn't look like a music video or a ig reel then it's basic and lame. Hard work is lame, if you actually have a real job that involves anything other than entertainment, day trading, or being a "boss" whatever that means then you're lame. All these women want to manifest (not work) their lives or attract success to build generational wealth. Women want to partner with a man to create their beyonce jay-z power couple fantasy. It's messed up. Once millennials and gen-z head toward retirement age then there are going to be a lot of failed single rappers, influencers, and bosses living on the streets.

@@MOTV583 BONG BONG. Spot on. However this isn’t a new phenomenon in the American zeitgeist Alexis de Tocqueville wrote in 1835 that every American fancies themselves a millionaire in the making. The difference between then and now is that the sweat equity a young milllenial, Gen Z’er, Xennial is willing to put in is significantly below their ancestry. Don’t forget the new manifest it and it will happen movement that shun planning and rigorous improvement, for magical thinking. “It’ll happen if I close my eyes and manifest it happening”. They are in for a rude awakening in the 2050’s and 60’s if they make it that far. Cheers
@MOTV5832 жыл бұрын
@@Olyphantman You're right, it isn't a new phenomenon, however social media magnifies it to dangerous proportions. The filters and edits allow women to believe they're hotter than they are because by the time they're 21 they've had thousands of men tell them they're the most beautiful goddess to ever walk the planet. And social media allows everyone to think they're equal to celebrities because they're one dm or comment away from them. Even hot women can get flown out by the hottest rapper through a dm from her bedroom. It allows people to have their 15 min and convince themselves they're stars. And it also allows everyone to post the highlight reel of their life like it's every day. A lot of people believe they're just one dm, song, or post away from millions and super stardom. Anything realistic is basic and lame. All the hardworking people that keep society running is invisible to them like the people in the supply chain that gets food delivered to their front door or on the walmart shelf. Too many people are truly delusional out here, especially women.

@YourFavoriteRealEstateAgent2 жыл бұрын
@@numbaoneg101 no but definitely a grown man with children should be able to see that the man ain’t have to do anything for him, just like his biological father, and have enough respect to not disrespect him in public. That’s a very whiny answer
@uviziomediagroup35352 жыл бұрын
@numbaoneg101, see you sound like a cheerleader, kings were praise, generals were praised why do we teach that normalizing respect and appreciation for a black man is non-existent the world is truly messed up and you broken black men are the real reason why we will continue to be at the bottom of the totem pole and I am in the category of men that Kevin always say these women want HV, and believe me I would not even look her way or any of these women because they are naive. I prefer to stay single and date that’s it for me I have my 1 child that I raise as a single father and his life and future is secure. Many of you black men need to focus on bettering yourself and stop chasing tails let them woman that’s for you come to you and she must present the same qualities that you have her financial status does not have to be where yours is but she needs to understand value of time and life and not things. “ You know the cost of everything, but the value of nothing,” - Jay-Z

It’s no comparison, as a man who is a single father and has primary custody I’m the head of my household, so that means if I get a woman with no kids, nothing changes, my child is still underneath my leadership and I don’t have to worry about a disciplinary controversy because my son knows that I will discipline him and like you said I also have 100% of the financial responsibility of her and my child. All that woman has to do is be nice to my kid, that’s all.

But asking the "dress size" of women he isn't interested in is kinda pointless though, cause he don't know what type of men those women are around or what those men like when it comes to "dress sizes" so all he can really say is what (hv men with his kinda mindset only) would think of her dress size anyway! By the looks of it most of the women who call in don't seem to have interest in hv men with his mindset! So in my opinion him asking that is pointless either way and kinda seems like a cheap-shot way of distracting the women away from the actual conversation.
