How does someone go from having the whole country look, accent and sound to morphing into a pop star. Taylor was never truly country to begin with. She only chose it to appeal to a secured audience and switched to pop as soon as she emassed a huge fandom. Good strategy but... It's like I was lied to for the early years of her career when she was in coyboy boots and sang with an accent.

@@taytoosharma7003 I kind of wish she continued to sing country as well even if she wanted to go pop like how she mixed the two in her Red album was really cool. Now it just feels like she abandoned her roots almost completely like I never knew her from the start - she didn't just change her genre, she changed her look, accent, even the way she writes songs - it's so much more watered down compared to her older songs. I know it's her life and her decision but as someone who was a fan of her country songs I'm going to have an opinion about the sudden change and I think it's valid in its own right just like the opinion of those who didn't mind the transition.

@@imaginativegirl126 okay I respect your opinion but in each album she had put some country vibe.in lover album also there are two songs inspired by country song. So she cared about her fans and tried to give them both taste and the way she treat her fans is incomparable with other artists. I don't think if she had continued to sing country songs only then she wouldn't get the success as she has today. It's like way of being relevant in music industry. As being fan,you should support her. I listened her first song back in 2008 (love story) and I fell in love with her, sometimes I miss her old stuff but switching to pop, she has given many hits too. So it's not that disappointing. Enjoy the music.that's all...
