I know Amsah won the runback and was playing PAL Sheik, but it's worth bearing in mind that Link loses his up-b spike in PAL as well. And at any rate, 3-0'ing Amsah in Sheik-Link is an amazing achievement. Mad props to Sixx.

Bruh, comboes like that are what got me into maining Link from Smash 64 on. That perfect timing of the strong hit boomerang into down-air... you have to practice that shit. Link has his textbook combos, but you really need to get creative to beat good players.

Terraqueous Link's wavedash is useful every now and then, but it's so situational, depending on the stage, the match up, and placement. The only Link I've seen make wavedash work consistently is SAUS.

Link /younglink (altho less applicable for young link because his wavedash is very fast) better spend their time pulling out bombs than wavedashing

@@Bonefinger this comment is fundamentally wrong. Wavedashing is a spacing/ledge grabbing tool, pulling bombs is a different neutral tool. Both are useful in totally different scenarios

Link/Sheik isn't as bad in PAL for that reason, maybe 60:40 or 65:35. In NTSC it's 70:30 or even 80:20 cuz of the chaingrab.
