No if you want to get a friends help you trade them the pokemon over home then if you want you can trade in back in game. If you send the pokemon back to the same home account its just going to stay locked

Worked for my Zarude, thankfully. Its stupid you need to do this at all i spend money in pokemon Go just to get Zarude because I missed his events amd it waa the only pokemon i was missing. I should be allowed to do what i want with my pokemon when I own them. Im paying for this.

@isaacbrown7936 yes! Do it exactly the way he does it in the video, that's how I got it to work. I was lucky in that my partner already has a profile on our switch (we share one system) and had Pokemon HOME already.

Meltan does not exist in Scarlet & Violet. So it can't be moved at all.

Ik this comment is very late but my main account doesn't have the "friends" feature and all the pokemons I'm trying to transfer are mythical so I can't put them in the gts is there any way to bypass this?

Users under 16 can't use the friend trade feature. Bropenings has a tutorial on KZbin. If your age is wrong you can contact support and they should fix that.

Gonna try this when I get home tonight with my wife’s phone as I have an I phone or I would have done it already lol. Super excited to hopefully get darkrai and my shiny rayquaza into scarlet and violet from my go account. Only question is if I don’t have the dlc will I still be able to obtain those Pokémon ? Like rayquaza for example. I believe you can only get him through the dlc right ?

Yes, just open Home on your switch with your main profile instead of the secondary one and move your pokémon there.

You don't need online. Just trade them through Home as you did in step two, but from account 2 to account 1.
