I love the larger Byredo palettes. It frustrates me so much that Byredo doesn't promote them the way they should. The pictures and swatches never do them justice. I can see why so many people don't understand why they are so special and unique. Yes, colors look the same, but there is usually so much nuance in them as far as opacity, texture, shimmer, etc. Why wouldn't Byredo do everything they can to truly represent the uniqueness of these palettes? Ok, rant over. The formula is stunning and they wear so well, especially on aging eye lids! I think it's well worth the price.

I was wearing my Kalahari Palette just a few days ago and it is equally the best palette I own due to the quality, magnificent shades plus the amount of product for the price. Amongst the matte shades in the Remembrance Palette, a good majority can be used as blush also. Their shades are something else entirely! Forget Pat McGrath's 'special shades', these shadows beats them hands down in my opinion. When the Kalahari was released, everyone was complaining that the shades looked the same in the picture but they are definitely not when seen with the naked eye or very simply swatched. It surprises me too that Byredo don't do more to show how incredibly special their shadows are. I highly recommend these Byredo larger palettes to everyone who appreciates great quality and beauty.💖

The Byredo shades remind me of the Signature palette by Vanity Makeup, apart from the "fairy dust" shade, which is quite special 😍. I actually think the palette is very good value, 18 shades plus awesome packaging seems a no-brainer to me. The only thing holding me back is that I much prefer cooler toned colours and this palette is predominantly warm toned. I love how the eye look kept morphing into yet another look entirely, just brilliant Jen 👏 Much love to you 💗💜💗💜💗

I absolutely love the Sisley Beverly Hills. I pounced on it the second I saw it, it’s the perfect peachy shade for fair skin. I’ve been wearing it every day. I didn’t realize it’s limited! You’ve convinced me to pick up a backup. Thanks for another great video!

The Byredo palette is stunning! I love the formula so creamy and smooth on the eyelids with no fallout. Totally worth the price since I will be wearing it all the time. I got it when it initially released on Bergerdorf and am so glad I did! I’m in the minority but I don’t care for Tom ford wet dry formula but love the creme eyeshadow quads.

@@hijennwu I have very slightly hooded eyes (depends on the day) and I never got the hype with wet/dry or liked that particular shimmer look TBH. On the other hand, Tom ford creme formula is very sophisticated and a joy to use. I also found Byredo to be sophistaced on eyes though first time using their eyeshadow palette. I love Tom ford makeup as well as fragrances in general. If I’m going for all out shimmery look then prefer PatMcgrath. Just preference thing…

I ordered it from bergdorf & have already started playing. I love that sort of yogurt 90’s shimmer (which pulls more lavender on you). I adore the formula. For me, it’s like the Burberry holiday palette. Yes, you’re paying a lot for some neutrals, but the formula and dummy proof-ness is worth it to me.

Just when I'm trying to stay strong and not buy anything I don't need, Byredo just had to release this beauty! I already own these shades but their formula from the Kalahari Palette left me in awe with the quality of the shadows and the gorgeous shades. I purposely haven't been seeking out any reviews on this palette, yet it keeps popping up in front of me. This is my new favorite. I’m obsessed with this palette. I only wish they also had a five pan with a few of these shades for travel in the Oyster packaging. They could even have a “mother of Pearl” finish on top. I’m hearing these pans break if you travel with them, even in a bag.

I keep hearing that it’s a fragile pallet and to not travel with it or if you decide to risk it wrap it up in bubble wrap and be very careful. Just an fyi 😊

Unfortunately I also wouldn’t recommend it for travel. I encourage others to store it horizontally facing up. These shadows are beautiful (probably my favorite formulas) but occasionally a shade can lift up from the case. I believe they are each individually housed in a thin metal pan which you can place back in but it’s riskier to carry it with you bc cracking is another possibility. I say all this bc I love these palettes and would be heartbroken if mine didn’t survive 😂.

Not me hoping you got the Haus Labs Rose Quartz highlighter to compare it with the Chanel Le Blanc blush 😂. Do you think the Haus Labs highlighter applies similarly to Chanel’s formula? I think I still like Chanel’s blush better 🙈. It’s interesting that Fire Opal is a lot more glittery and others like Rose Quartz just have shine. And I don’t know if I can resist that Byredo palette much longer. 😂 The cover art isn’t for me and it’s the most neutral of the three but these are easy colors to use, for blush & highlighter as well. I agree there’s just something about the formulas that are really special. Kalahari was the first palette I got last year and the one I used the most. I’ve tried to encourage anyone who gets it to store it flat, horizontally and facing up right. I keep mine on display 😊. Since the formula is more fragile I recommend not traveling with it. (Which is how I justified also keeping my Tom Ford Apres Ski quad hahaha.)

Personally, I’d replace “need” with “really enjoy” because the Byredo palette formula is truly special. Very thin in texture and application (yet somehow really pigmented when intended.) If these are your shades and you’re okay keeping it at home for use (don’t store it upright) you’d absolutely love it I think. These tones are warmer than Mario’s palette too, but less pink than Mitzah.

My Remembrance arrived yesterday. The silver is smashed. I may repress it. I have to call customer care (selfridges) to see what they say first. Sad😢 Edit: The shadows look “wow” on you!

Was it the top left or top right silver? These palettes can be fragile but I love the formula and mine have stayed in tact! I recommend storing them horizontally and not traveling with them. You could try adding a little 70% alcohol and repressing the top right silver, but the top left formula is so unique I wonder if the same approach would work for it.
