I'm so glad I saw this 'back story'......every time I hear Ryan sing it, my heart breaks for him.

We've all been there, but RYAN sings it so well ! His passion in singing is absolutely brilliant ! I love all the songs on the CD, but this one is my favorite.♥♣♥

This may be my favorite on the brilliant CD, Echoes. Once I hear it the melody continues to play in my head for awhile. The words are heartbreaking and very memorable. Love it.

If I had a dollar for every time the story and the music gave me an overload of feels. I could afford to attend every B&K and CT concert ever, haha. I want to say this one is my favorite, but that would be doing the whole album an injustice because the whole album is just sooo good. But it's guaranteed I get choked up every time I sing along with this one.

I actually feel the same about a lass of mine too, I feel I've lost her and spent all this time building a story just to get it crushed, makes go madder than a hatter

my response will probably be the odd one out. I was the one the regrets were about. we drifted apart in college. He was a PROMISING musician. went on to great highs. Only found out years later how he pined for me. It was flattering but heartbreaking too. WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN.....no regrets NOW but it took a long, long while. You wrote the song he would have sung to me.

After listening to the back story of "Come Away" and not being able to understand every word, I still don't know who wrote it. I had thought maybe Ryan wrote it. Maybe it was someone else entirely. Does anyone know?

They wrote it together. All the songs on their new CD are originals except for Step It Out Mary which is a traditional Irish song.

Thank Maggy. I thought that might be it. I love all of their music.
