George had the most incredible voice. His voice flowed like a beautiful wine. His smile lit up the stage and also made you feel special. I've just realized that Goerge and I both shared our birthday. My 66th is in 2 days here in New Zealand on this day I will remember the big man from Celtic Thunder. R.I.P. George.

My first time hearing George was in If Birds Had Wings with 14 yr. Old Damian McGinty. I love this song and still listen to it. After hearing that song, I researched to find Celtic Thunder, and the rest is history. Then soon after, I learned George passed away. I was devastated. I love his voice, the twinkle in his eye, his sense of humor, and the care he had for the other singers. RIP George, you are sorely missed. Much love….

Cannot believe he's gone. I loved this man, his voice, his joyful personality and his awesome performances. As the saying goes,, God takes the best and the young first, but I don't understand God's reasonings, as he took my husband at 40 years old from me. I believe God has a reason and I know we will all understand one day when we are with our love one's one day. My love, prayers and thoughts are with his wonderful wife and precious daughter. @richard pleat God doesn't always take the Best first...he does leave his devoted and righteous ones on Earth to help those "poor souls that have lost their way" AND FALLEN INTO SINFUL WAYS....that is made very clear in the Bible when he did destroyed the many wicked people and their cities. Someday, we will all (hopefully) know more about his Eternal plans for His children/mankind. Peace and love.
