I have a similar story. Both my dad and grandfather pushed me away from driving a truck. I went college for a business degree like my grandmother did. I would ask her for help with my work and one day she said she knew I didn't want to do this and that she would help me get my own truck. I just about cried as I hugged her. Well after asking couple of my bodies I find a truck. It was a 1977 peterbilt 359 long hood aluminum cab and bunk with a C-15 6NZ Caterpillar a 6 speed Spicer transmission with a four speed auxiliary and had a pusher axle. I could tell this truck was set up for heavy hauling which the owner went on to say. The truck was owned by an elder woman who inherited from her husband who stopped trucking in 2000. He passed away in 2018 and instead of letting it rot away his wife decided to sell it. Me and my grandmother showed my grandmother wrote her the check and all the truck needed were some new batteries and she fired right up. I couldn't believe it a truck that had been setting for 18 years fired right up. I thanked the lady very much and told her the reason I was buying the truck and she said that I remained her of her husband when he was younger. When I pulled the truck into the yard that night my dad and grandfather came out and I could tell they were pissed. My grandmother set them straight pretty quickly. They apologize for not supporting me and actually helped restore the truck. I've never looked back since that day and haven't regretted a single thing

Great video. I always watch your channel. You do very well and efficiently. I love American trucks very much. I live in Russia and work on an American truck. These cars will not compare to any European truck
