Mrniceguy 818 the game checks for collision each frame. Since he was traveling so fast, the game couldn’t detect collision between the ball and the goal post. This has happened to me numerous times without TAS. So stop being a dumbass nigga and fuck off

This isnt even a valid TAS. You obviously implented a hack that makes the posts around every goal invisible. You clearly hit the side post on a good amount of levels and level 25 on expert clearly shows it. Might as well make a hack which makes him float at high speed to the finish

Actually, that's a known quirk with the game's physics. Collision is only checked every few frames, meaning with enough speed and the right timing you can go straight through anything, including the sides of goals. Heck, you can see the Expert 25 clip in some real-time runs. It's relatively easy.

TAS speedruns aren't really people playing the game well, just controlling the game to make it as easy as possible e.g. Slowing it down, speeding it up while it still records at normal frames, or actually having a computer put in the inputs, it really takes the fun out of it.

You take an emulator, and slow the game down enough to where you can create the perfect input at any given time frame, which makes TAS more like a what if for if humans never made any mistakes. TAS is a load of fun to do.

Pretty sure the devs of this game were goofing off on Rainbow Road in Mario Kart 64 while high, and managed to accidentally pull off the 1st hill skip as DK. Dev 1: "Duuuude! How'd you do that?!?"
