I love dragon link. It’s a deck that not only can (if you want) use every single mechanic. They are constantly upgraded and have so many variants. The deck has evolved from thunder dragon variants/chaos, to a build a board synchro spam, to halq combos, to DPE/scythe, the deck just takes every generic engine and they just fit so easily in them

@@ashikjaman1940 I mean, back in 2020/2021 it was the most dominant t1 deck. I think that dragon link's "downfall" began with the ban of Elpy, even though it still remained a competitive deck. Now is just not that crazy compared to other decks, one time it was, but that's fine :)

It has been almost more than 4 years since this deck came to be. I am proud of how far this deck has come, how much it has evolved over the years. From the IB turbo deck that died to one Ash to Borrelend Seal Savage Branded Beast past, so many fond memories.

Ninjas have new support cards that give it so much interaction during the opponent's turn banishing summoning everything from your deck setting cards face down negating popping and tributing the opponent's cards to summon more cards that banish it has gotten very strong and can recover from massive advantage loss

I wish this format would last an extra month or two, it's so much fun having just 3 main decks to metagame and the variety in rogue is the best. ive been on dragonlink for a year now, mostly playing the seyfert build, not adventure. even if tear isnt meta, Magnamhut and Lubellion are some of the best dragon cards we've got in awhile. Being able to guarantee the midrange end board of seals + beast thru hand traps is insane, and also magna is the new best summon off of seals universally, making the decks followup (and also occasional go 2nd with just engine) much better. but if ur locals is like mine and not many ppl play tear, u gotta cut the engine down as much as u can to make room for handtraps. im on 3 magna, 3 lubel, 1 druis, and 1 beast. completely cut saronir, that card actually kind of sucks, and regained is really win harder, so i cut it too. card would be insane in a grindier format tho so im not fully discounting it. theres even an argument to play 2 magna instead of 3 but too risky imo (like how u played 2 synchron, one to use on turn 1 and the other to use on the next turn)

I'm genuinely kind of sad that the Ishizu cards are going to ruin the interesting balance DABL format has. Of course tearlament is still the best but it's hard to always say that when everyone is running 9 d.d. crow that also can help break boards. It's nice to have a top deck with obvious weaknesses, sadly most of those go away with Ishizu cards.
