We have not been celebrating the 25th anniversary for 3 years. Not even 2 years, in fact. The actual 25th anniversary of the physical card game was February 4th 2023. And QCR was introduced in the set "rarity collection quarter century edition" in the OCG in that very month. And during the entirety of 2023 the OCG released many sets that featured QCR cards. The reason the celebration has lasted to long and seems so much longer than it actually has been is because the TCG has to catch up. (And Konami is kinda milking it a bit) We have to get all the cards from all the sets that released in the OCG for the quarter century celebration before the celebration can end. By the time Stampede releases, it will have been a couple months over 2 years since the celebration began, and the majority of that extended time is because the TCG needed to catch up to the OCG. Konami only milked it by like 6 months.
