I already bought one of each little houses. I made a village with them. Opened a hole in the back, put a paper on the windows and doors and added a small light to the back hole. They looked great. I painted the houses white but left the barn red.

About twelve years ago I had to rent an apartment for a short time while waiting for a house to get finished building. It was during the Christmas season. I had all my belongings in storage except for a few pieces of furniture to live somewhat comfortable. I didn’t have my Christmas decorations so I took pictures from Christmas magazines and catalogs I received in the mail, cut out Christmas pictures, putting them in frames, placing them around my apartment so that I had some Christmas decor to enjoy the holiday.

I learned from a comment on another video that if you paint a coat of Mod Podge on, let it dry, then paint over that. The MP will act as a primer, provides something for the paint to stick to. I'm thinking of the barn you painted. Thank you!

i apply a hood coat of Matte Modpodge on those fiber board pieces to seal them. Your paint won’t be absorbed
