Interesting about the Senior and Junior of the same name in the past. I did not know that. For example looking at censuses (pre-1850) and seeing persons listed in order of enumeration as neighbors (rather than listed alphabetically) and my mind instantly thinks oh probably relatives and one possibly the father and the other possibly the son. I see something similar in Italian records when they have the same name such as two witnesses but they sometimes use the word for "another" of the same name in that case. Interesting discussing more than one entry of the same person. There are two entries for my father. The one I entered (which predates the other one and so normally takes precedence as the "Intended Identity") which shows him as still Living which he is and the second one which shows him as Deceased. It also shows him married to his deceased sister which he was of course not. So I'm going to have to find the webinar on how to properly do Merges to correct it.
