Thank you, brothers. I appreciate you taking the time to start with Jacob 4. PLEASE continue to do these - very insightful.

I enjoyed this immensely. I also very much appreciated the visuals that were so helpful in understanding the allegory of the olive trees. Brother Wilson was a professor of mine at BYU and the most memorable one, so I was very happy to see him. I am thrilled at this updated discussion. This is a great help to my studies.

Great discussion and I sights to help us learn and deepen our understanding. Personally, I like the music transitions and added visuals.

I really enjoy learning on a deeper level, and enjoyed listening to this, however, the music throughout was distracting and annoying. I think it would have been better at the beginning and end only.

10/10. The music in between topics works well, but the music starting and stopping while they talk is distracting. I love the content -- thanks for uploading

Question: just as Jacob 5 discusses the allegory of the olive trees is not about olives but rather an array of time periods with the workings of Christ and his people, etc.. Is there any discussion anywhere on the ‘War Chapters’ in Alma and how they are an allegory (group of allegories) and some thoughts of interpretations of those elements (Lamanites = sin/temptation, cities = homes in a ward/stake boundaries, etc.. etc...) I’m trying to understand the War Chapter Allegory(ies) and can’t find any information on it. Thanks,

Here's a great article published by the Religious Studies Center that gives more details about the war chapters in the Book of Mormon- rsc.byu.edu/vol-3-no-3-2002/captain-moronis-wartime-strategies-application-spiritual-battles-our-day

One book would be "Warfare in the Book of Mormon", by Ricks and Hamblin. Also drive.google.com/file/d/1ND-4SZjbvryLlG6ejtVYPjYAITCYSr_P/view?usp=sharing for a helpful bibliography.
