Of course it looks bigger for two reasons: 1. The chain is not round, but square. That means that the length from one side to another side is 3.5mm, BUT if you measure the length from one CORNER to another CORNER, it will be greater than 3.5. That is the pythagorean theorem. It occurs with all squares. 2.It has a width as opposed to the flat curb, so it appears thicker than the flat curb

Take that ruler again and if I'm not wrong, you should be able to get 4.94mm measuring from the corners.

I would have guessed that the byzantine is a higher karat because it looks way more yellow than the flat curb

To be honest that's the only reason why I like it... I've outgrown 14 karat Yellow Gold because the color is just not yellow enough for me. Byzantine is the only 14 karat chain that has a decent Yellow... Still not quite like my 22 karat Coin pendant but closer than the average 14 karat Gold chain.

You are going to want to get both. The flat curb will lay flat in a casual setting,but when you are active like working or exercising it will flip especially at 22 inches.

Definitely the 2.5,the 2mm.is super small i gave it to my daughter, its not a man's chain at all,but the 2.5 mm byzantine is perfect.it will not overshadow the franco not at all they will look great togeather.

Jacoje's 2.5mm byzantine at approx 16 grams is similar to saints gold 2mm byzantine at also approx 16 grams. Not sure how this can be? Unless either company has slightly higher or lower guages that are called 2mm. Thanks again

Iam ordering this tomorrow 14k 3.5mm 24 inch, it looks amazinggg, so unique and that 14k yellow color really pops , i have a couple questions: how does it feel on the neck , bare skin? Is it smooth? Non scratch? Does it get caught up with the clothes? How durable and strong would you say this style is to wear in a daily basis? And how easy is yo clean it up? How is it holding up as today? I have been doing a big research before i make my first purchase from JACOJE and the contenders i have, i narrowed it down to this style at 3.5mm, the 3mm franco diamond cut and the 7mm flat curb i believe that this one take the cake, more weight, beautiful 14 yellow deep rich color, very elegant and unique. Do you think the 3mm’s links are as visible as the 3.5mm from a 6ft distance? The jump from 3m to 3.5mm is about $1000 difference, do you think it’s worth it to just stay at the 3m?

I have a quick question I got the 4.6mm 95.9 byzantine from jacoje and always questioned if I should've got the franco but you sold your frsnco for the byzantine so my question is you still prefer the byzantine over the franco

Honestly I like them both equally but if I ever get another Franco it will be the five mmmm but my next chain is going to be the baby curb jacoje curb 5.5 mm and I think that's where my journey is taking me and the reason I know that is how much I love my 5.5 mm flat curb so I'm pretty certain that the baby curb will be my final destination with chains but I do love my Byzantine I felt like the 4 mm Franco was too small for my taste my 6 mm rope had a funny look because of how chunky it was but I did like the size it just had a Kind of a Funny look almost like I was wearing lace around my neck it kind of looked feminine in a weird way hard to explain but I'll tell you this much that 5.5 mm jacoje baby curb is going to be my favorite of all time I should be copping that next week

@@Forwardever. the franco is the best pendant chain,the byzantine is a nice solo chain because of its complexity and design and steals the show from the pendant,the heavy link would come in second out of those 3 however I'd keep the heavy link no larger than a 4mm for a pendant.

The Byzantine chain is the ONLY chain that Jacoje has that has a very good Yellow for a 14 karat Gold chain. Most 14 karat gold chains have that disgusting washed out Yellow color...

It's not just byzantine. I have a 14k italian cuban from jacoje that has a really rich gold color, but the 14kt franco I got from jacoje is pretty pale. I think he gets stuff from a lot of different manufacturers and they all make 14kt different.
