It may be a reference to Judges 3:36-40 where said fleece placed on the floor is found to be dewy, which was suggested to mean that help will be received for Israel as promised.

The melody was created in the 1990s by a monk of the Athonite Simonopetra monastery, based on the famous Greensleeves which he heard while in Jerusalem, adapted to a Byzantine musical setting.

The Hymn,s lyrics where given to saint Nektarios of Egina island near Athens,it was sung by Angels, at the beginning of last century. Saint Nectarios was a truly Holly man, as you can gather. His Reliks are on the island and is very miraculous, thousands of people have been made well to his Name, by the Devine. I hope you can visit him.❤

The pronunciation of the koine Greek is the same as today's Greek, the ancient one was lost long before and it wasn't even the same all over the Greek speaking world.

God loves you even when you're mad and at your worst. He still allows you to see another day. It is hard, you seem to have gone through very similar things as I have. I've been angry, too. But I realize that no matter how tough and terrible things get, I can step away for a prayer and talk with Him. He listens. He loves us and He will get us through everything put in our paths. He won't let us go through anything we can't handle. Think about that. You made it though some terrible, terrible times and you are still here. That is God's love.

God loves us but He must allow all things to happen, good and bad for the sake of our love and our free will. Note that all inherently bad things are of the devil and all good things are of God as the very nature of God is love, peace, joy, and goodness. God allows all things to happen for the sake of our salvation but we must realize that judgment will occur. Those who have sinned will pay for their sins and those who have suffered injustice will by that measure have mercy shown on them. Do not despair, pray for your husband's soul as I am sure he is praying for yours in Heaven. God be with you and strengthen you. Byzantine Orthodox is another name for the Eastern Orthodox just as the Latin church is another name for the Romans’ church. As such, Agni Parthene is a product of the Byzantines.
