For real though. The only thing I can point a finger at is that I BELIEVE they all have jobs and families and that they play in this band mostly out of fun and passion (which explains why their music is so goddamn beautiful in the sense of how fucking good it is) But I'm with you. I just don't understand. They deserve to have a video panning across a huge line of fans screaming and flashing their "Byzantine" t-shirts outside of a big sold-out club.

I'm a guy into spirituality, meditation, hindian rtial practises, so I only hear and devotional bhajans. But once I was a Metal fan. From time to time Metal arises inside me and theres this urge to hear great metal riffs. Byzantine is the fuckin band - it's Music! It's not just agressiveness, noise, screams, it's Art, Metal Art. Just sad that the last album is so full of devilish lyrics, it's better not to hear it, cause it's bad for us all, guess they sold themselves. But the old albuns are just awesome.
