White moose lake is very underrated i will recomend people to go there as soon as they unlock it u can catch pike there and that will help u get to saint croix quickly

I agree but the pike are definitely not the focus, it's mainly the lake trout, I would farm them with those 4-6/0 hook yellow or red spoon for hours and make so much money/decent xp

I hit st. Croix till level 50, once i got to weeping willows i went till mid 60's. Weeping willows is still the best grind, went from 74-77 in couple days

I disagree, there's not really a winning in this game... It's not PVP. It's grindy but if you simply stay at the location you're fishing for multiple days it's not too costly at all.

@@AdamsOlympia Not to sh** on your parade but level 45 is very low, so far you have obtained around 550K xp to reach that level, in order to reach level 90 you need another 21 million. If you were wanting to actually power level, buy one of the congo DLC packs at some stage and farm unique nile perch, they are 30K xp per unique and if you know the strategy you could easily make 300K - 600K xp per hour depending on how well you do it

I thought the same thing till I finally made it to lv 50 then the money becomes no issue at all they just want you to pay to win so they make it really hard at first once your at weeping willows catching carp you can make 100k in a couple in game hours. Then from there your getting into being a multimillionaire in no time. The only thing I wish wasnt there is the wait time to skip the time and paying a bait coin to switch times that's pretty garbage

@@mike-ij9lv That might make premium membership worth it @ $3.00 a month (or $1.50 during sales) .. Hardly any wait time if you're efficient. Otherwise I agree. I think it'd be the worst use of baitcoins in the game. btw, how long did it take you to get from 45 to 50? -- seems like a pretty big hump, compared to the relatively easy 30s. 5 SLOW lvls to go .. currently making about 45k per 3 hours game time; so Carp will be a very nice jump.

Like I mentioned - these were kind of off the top of my head, however... the reason selenge rated worse than Maku Maku is because it really only has one interesting fish in my mind - the Taimen. If you remove the Taimen, I feel like very few people would travel to Selenge River. However, Maku Maku has a few interesting fish that you can target - remove the Arapaima, and you've still got Payara, Gilded Catfish, etc. I feel like many people enjoy Selenge because it gives them a break from the Sturgeon grind... and that's cool... but at 48, the grind for sturgeon is still far too long, and in 2 levels, you're headed off to Weeping Willows and will likely rarely be back to Selenge River again on the money and exp trail.

I completely agree with you about not buying the Congo DLC before level 40 or so. I bought it around level 25-28 because I wanted a boat with rod holders. I zoomed up levels incredibly fast and unlocked the Amazon. What I didn’t do was learn how to fish. I hardly used spinning rods and setups and was clueless how to do so. I started a whole new account just to learn how to really setup rods and how to fish rather than just grind. Even doing so this game at times has me pulling my hair out or wanting to throw my controller through my tv😅. Great video but disagree on a few grades but it’s really all about the fun !

I've only gotten as far as Blue Crab so far myself. I pretty much agree with all of your location rankings up to that point based on my own experience except that I enjoy Selenge River more than where you tiered it. I get if you take the Siberian Taimen away it would be a pretty meh location, but they are so fun to catch and you can get them in multiple locations so you never have to worry about the bite shutting off. I would put Selenge at least in the B tier if I were making the list.

yeah i bought the congo döc pack after i was done with blue crab or weeping willow location, because i didnt feel like going to this one Lake the one with payara and trophy arapaima so i grinder congo until i could go to marron river and then used marron river to go to amazonian maze and then amazonian mahe to unlock congo it was worth it to skip that one waterway for me

@@dominationgdim level 36 and honestly there is no way i can sturgeon grind for 12-14 more levels, people might say the game will get boring once u get congo pack but thays not true. That will just open up the game to me, instead of spending 100 hours fishing for sturgeon i can spend those 100 hours leveling up to lvl 75 getting acess to all maps in the game buying all the setups i want and go to any lake i want with congo

@@ArgjendB8502 well suit yourself :) me personally i want to get trough the whole game without buying any dlc just as a little challenge for me and im soon gonna get to maku-maku and finally catch some arapaima, plus that reel of fortune that you get everyday can give you 1 or 3 days of premium if you are lucky so that helps. And i can tell you the absolute relief you get after you pass the sturgeon grind is unmatched lol

Kaiji No Ri is wonderful!! I must admit that I am saddened with the 2 boat packages, or 90 days of fishing! I feel bad when they come in with no experience or level and they only have 90 days to hit level 83! That means they will have to go to the other lakes and the xp will not be near what they have received with their DLC's! I have seen some that catch a unique marlin and go up like 5 levels, the other side will be boring big time for them! I hope that I am wrong!! Love your channel!! I am level 90, loaded with cash and xp and am going back to catch all the fish I missed the first time around!! Keep up the good work!!!

You arent wrong, and i think its the scummy tactic the devs use to try get people to continue buying DLC, I bought the congo DLC on a 50% sale and was getting 30K xp per unique nile perch , and around 300K xp per hour of serious grinding. Scale that back to weeping willows (because I didnt reach max level due to only actually being able to put maybe 10-20 hours total into the game) and now i'm getting 2K XP for a unique carp which would take maybe half the time it would for me to get 30-60K in the congo lol. Its a smart tactic, but very scummy none the less

It’s already a HUGE advantage that you can just buy 30 days in Congo and you can quite literally go from level 1 to 75 if you’re just able to play the game for around 2-3 hours a day for those 30 days. I know that’s not possible for everyone but I mean can you complain for having to play the game to reach a certain level?

I think it matters what level you are and what rods you can buy. Going to San Joaquin too early can make fishing the sturgeon quite difficult and you might fill up a small keepnet too quickly.

Texas lake is an S tier. Why? because you can practice nearly every technique there and catch fish. I learned topwater on that lake. I haven't played in years, but maybe one of these days I will dust off the old PS4 and give it a try.

I think xp just needs a buff all accros the board , maybe a 200% increase honestly. LET ME EXPLAIN , most people who play probably play for like 1-2 hours the most. The first 15-20mins is REALLY enjoyable and drops off further you play. The avg player WILL NEVER get to congo or even kaji . I know your meant to enjoy each location but xp no longer feels like a satisfying grind and rather a chore. My geniune favorite thing to do as a max level player is to go back to the lower lakes and wnjoy catching bass and pikes. The avg player wont ever get that freedom such as I therefore i suggest you give them the ability to get to such high levels to be able to afford the luxury to go lake to lake.

Sorry man, i have to disagree on the rating of Tiber river. It has a huge variety of species, from the asp and chub, through the carp, the catfish, multiple trouts, the grayling. You can have fun with lot's of different fishing methods. And you can make really good money/xp with the bigger trouts and the asp. I would place it at least to A tier, maybe even S tier

@@BoAngles you should try it out. Pack a Jigwinner 270 with some walkers (14g #3/0) for the Asp, spinners and spoons for the trouts. For the barbel you should use Big Alli 420 or 450 with blood. For the trout you can use spawn sacks or small minnows even mayflies on float or bottom. For the catfish leeches are the best on the bottom. You can catch Chub on a lighter rod with walkers.

Didnt you see his beginner series video on weeping willows? He shows you how to fish there with only 2 bottom rods and still catch a ton of fish, me personally i like my carp rods so i use them most if the time but you can still catch a yon of uni carp with bottom tods

@@dominationgd still biased. Bolivia rotation- trahira>gilded>redtail and repeat. The exp and money easily beats carp. no reason to go carp fishiing if your high enough level to fish at bolivia. Trahira is reliably farmed like sturgeon farming, thats all i did. uni and trophies gives crap load of xp and money.
