i wouldn't worry too much about using basic feeder rods for the burbot, they don't fight much, may take a while to land a big one though. Nights aren't very long here at Kouri though, so there's not too much time to kill Trolling Kouri becomes a lot more productive witrh 2 or even 3 rods. Of late the trend for trolling has gone down slighlty here, and the largest fish are often taken from a moored boat rather than trolling. Kouri is a fickle map though, it can be awful.

also dont stop the trolling motor when u hook a fish its less efficient and if you hook something big you will want to chase it

I can sort of understand what people may think, however in my mind, it’s less efficient to continue traveling over prime trolling area when you’re reeling in a small/medium size fish, when you can stop the boat, reel it in and then continue without skipping over more of the good stuff. However, towards the end of the stream, you can see how we left the trolling motor going for larger fish to work our way towards them. So - in my short experience it all comes down to whether it’s a small/medium size fish or big- which you should be able to estimate in the first 3 seconds.

@@BoAngles you did great for a new player to trolling (unlucky not to have picked up a valuable rainbow trout, kouri char or sevan trout). Stopping for the smaller fish is neither here nor there really, and you did well to keep trolling with the larger fish. You also did extremely well not running aground whilst chasing the bigger fish. Any event where you have to put down a rod with a fish on is prone to danger, as it's nott uncommon to lose a fish in the very short time it takes you to get trolling again or trying to get afloat again after running aground

I'm not sure about those FP vs RF4 steam stats you mentioned RF4 averages 11k per day concurrent players, eg an average of 11k playing at any given time, they peak at 23k players playing at the same time. FP averages around 3k concurrent players with peaks of around 4k players.. I don't believe there are any metrics for the total amount of diferent players per day for games. Then again, maybe it was just a phrasing misunderstanding.

Nope, you are definitely correct - my memory was off! So it's even more impressive than what I mentioned! 😆
