Something I discovered by accident--when using a private room--when I see one of the small white fishing boats stopped, I pull up, drop anchor and cast out. So far, it's been a great way to locate hot spots.

spend days grinding these mission only to loos the gear you get with no way to secure it to the line dog tooth will bite the squid chain and you will lose gear so grinding the missions is a wast of time

Would it be worth buying the dlc if I’m level 40? The grind is unbearable now I thought it was hard before now it’s just unplayable. I wouldn’t mind getting the ocean dlc if I knew I could make lvl 83 in that amount of time for it to stay unlocked for me

dont buy it it is a wast of time they sell a squidchain as a lure that you can not secure properly to the line cant use a leader and when you loose your trophy gear they say it was lost to broken leader that you can not use with this lure. the missions are a grind only to find out you can not set up your pole to protect it like all other maps

@@BoAngles yup useing 198 lb line with 198 lb reel on the 194 lb rod was told a setting of 11 broke my line when i use 3 rods set up that way caught a few 100 fish and they say i maxed the drag and the reel has 12 settings while rod was in holder when drag setting does not matter
