If you buy a dlc and don’t leave the lake/place when it runs out you keep it until you leave eventually I’ve been at the Congo for months

How come when I use M to take out my tablet and look at the map it does not show the higher detailed map with the depth lines. It just shows me the low quality basic map. When i see videos everyone else tablets has the higher quality map with depth lines.

I love the salt water addition but one thing I want changed (fairly small, idk abt anyone else) but I LOVE catfishing. However, I feel besides the Congo all the catfish are undercut. Blue catfish can very well get over 100lbs but I believe the record isn’t even 100lbs. I would just like the flathead, wels, and blue catfish get an increase to their max weight.

Yeah, Flatheads push 150+ in real life and Blues get up to 200+ or at least that's the world record. Even channel get bigger than in Fp, and another thing is that Atlantic salmon can get up to 30-40+ pounds but in Fp they only go to Trophy at 20+ pounds, I would love a 40-pound uni Atlantic salmon, and another thing is the Largemouth bass that push 25+ in real life but only get 10-12 in the game -_- and Wells can push 300-400 in Real life I think, now obviously that might be insane for Fp but it would be fun.

That first spot you showed, the "trolling hot spot" has been my best spot to catch anything. I've caught at least 1 to 2 uniques a day fishing. Ended up catching 3 today in like 40 mins cause the fights take so long. Also is the only spot i know to catch unique marlins.

What level are you? One of the cheap motor boats could work but wait until you're at least at st croix.i actually have the best luck leveling on congo with the cheap motor boat with no rod holders now, the fish pull it super fast cause it's lightweight.

I have question I did my second account bcs of bug when I throw a lure there's like little window showing up how deep u are and it's says for example"Stop&go" and for last week it don't say anything and I don't now what to do I still can cach but it's very hard like 3 fishes per 30min - 1 hour

I have an odd question… I’m thinking abt buying the dlc cause I’m not a “grinder” it seems almost impossible even if I was, however I’m a low level (25), but this is the kind fishing I want to do. Even if I buy the dlc eventually I will use up all my bait, lures, line ect & because of my low level I won’t be able to buy any more and or afford it. So effectively I’ll be locked out of the dlc again no??? Can someone clarify this for me, thanks!

Once’s the days run out you will be locked out if not 83 but I’d suggest Congo since you actually make more exp faster then here unless you fish amberjacks.

While i was watching you fight that marlin i was also fighting a marlin that was a bit bigger than yours it was a 313 lb trophy marlin also my biggest fish is a 397 lb unique bigeye tuna

Had one on for 2 hours this morning, then took me out to 500' again , fingers so cramped had to let it go... Have had several like that now, can see in-game fighting a fish for 10-15 minutes but certainly not longer.

I don't like that At level 83 I unlocked Japan map with slightly better rod and reel, but no line to go with it, I got to be level 87 to unlock the lines I need. So basically I didn't unlocked anything . To make things worse I can't get enough exp on the other maps anymore. I'll be winter before I can even get the gear to use for Japan 😞😢 if I keep grinding.

The problem with Fishing planet is that it isn't really a fight when you can do it with one hand. Too easy to catch everything. Takes a lot of time, yes, but that's just it. It should take skill, not time.

Skill? Skill? You do use skill sometimes you need to move your rod to the left or right side to reel a fish faster. Depends on what rod you are using, if you want a “challenge” use a lower level rod and you won’t be complaining no more.

Or you can always consider trying to go “outside” and try to catch fish irl if it’s too “easy” for you
