I am absolutely crushed that I missed this deadline by 4 days, as I just found your channel (and subsequently the mere existence of the ASAM!) on 7/23/24. If you good folks at @BzInfoCoalition have some sort of a community - a Discord, a Facebook group, a Zoom meeting, an email group - that I can participate in and hopefully find a way to begin to taper out of this miserably painful circumstance, please respond here and I will opt in expeditiously. Thank you again for creating this channel and educating people on how to make a change. I feel a wildly rare bust of optimism just knowing you even exist. Sincerely.

From New Zealand I have just filled in the forms online at the ASAM page you mentioned...Hope it can do something and change how withdrawals, medication, etc will be used...not forced drugged or anything else that can happen in the Mental Health system. Here in NZ am in the throws of complaining, standing up against our system with forced drugging, ect, seclusion, etc etc...thanks for sharing this and hoping and praying as mentioned a BIG change around?????....💕💗💜

This is already causing me stress, I think it's disgusting why they have made this so difficult and not surprised that so many have not been able to submit. Thank you Nicole for all your support. Benzos have been a massive problem in Britain, and they have shared the lead in controlling the problem, and likely have much good information to share. It's a world problem; there are likely many worldwide with good information. Far too many physicians still don't know the dangers (and many pushers still try to sell benzos on Quora)

Unless ASAM asks the patient panel for further input, we won't know until the guidance comes out in 2025.
