“This song is about a miracle. About magical heavenly forces that turn explosions into fireworks, bullets into the rain, and pain into songs. We all want to live in a world without war, aggressors and occupiers and feel this world as a huge joyful festival. But, unfortunately, these are only dreams far from reality,” says Julia.
The band releases the "Festival" single in English and does it right before the Eurovision Song Contest. This year, Great Britain is hosting the competition on behalf of Ukraine and Julia Sanina will front the song contest at three live shows.
"With this song, we want to remind the world once again about the war started by russia against our country. While the world was welcoming the New Year 2023 with fireworks, Ukrainians were hiding in bomb shelters due to a massive missile attack,” continues Julia. “But we perfectly remember the carefree spirit of holidays and festivals that took place in Kyiv and our other cities. We remember the time when fireworks, special effects and pyrotechnics did not remind of explosions. We showed Kyiv during the war in the music video. My hometown, which continues to live despite everything. To live and wait for the most important holiday - the Victory."

Дякуємо за вашу реакцію. Єдине, що хотіла додати. В росії не закриті соцмережі, вони мають до них доступ і можуть вільно черпати новини. Особливо це зрозуміло після кожного російського ракетного обстрілу…😢 під кожним відео їхнього терору тисячі їхніх коментарів, де вони насолоджуються нашим горем і просять більше жертв… Тому вони знають що у нас відбувається, і їм це подобається… Пробачте, але не коректно говорити «щоб закінчилась війна з двох сторін», адже ми не прийшли в росію, і не вбиваємо там дітей, а вони це роблять у наших будинках кожного дня😭 Ми лише хочемо жити, і захистити наших дітей від російських терористів.

Я не можу лізти в політику, але звукозаписні компанії постійно блокують мене щодо російських виконавців, яких я завантажую на свій канал. Росія, на яку припадає 14 відсотків моєї аудиторії. І хоча я згоден з тим, що ви говорите. Моя сестра живе в Росії і повідомляє мені іншу сторону, про яку більшість людей не знають. Я ціную ваш коментар. Але це музичний канал, де я уникаю політики. Проте я продовжую підтримувати Україну у своїх молитвах, а також артистів і музичну індустрію на своєму каналі. Повага.

At the beginning of her career, Julia sang almost exclusively in English. Since the beginning of the war in 2014, they began to sing more and more in Ukrainian. Hardkiss has a lot of good songs and videos. "Кораблі" ("Ships"), "Сестра" ("Sister") are also excellent contenders for a reaction.
