I've been listening to The Hardkiss for a year now and I'm not even from Ukraine. Their music is just something amazing!❤

Second part of this song is a Shchedryk - Ukrainian winter song also known as «Carol of the bells» in the world. From Wiki: "Shchedryk" (Ukrainian: Щедрик, from Щедрий вечiр, "Bountiful Evening") is a Ukrainian shchedrivka, or New Year's song, known in English as "The Little Swallow". It was arranged by composer and teacher Mykola Leontovych in 1916, and tells a story of a swallow flying into a household to sing of wealth that will come with the following spring. "Shchedryk" was originally sung on the night of January 13, New Year's Eve in the Julian Calendar (December 31 Old Style), which is Shchedry Vechir. "Shchedryk" was later adapted as an English Christmas carol, "Carol of the Bells", by Peter J. Wilhousky following a performance of the original song by Alexander Koshetz's Ukrainian National Chorus at Carnegie Hall on October 5, 1921. Wilhousky copyrighted and published his new lyrics (which were not based on the Ukrainian lyrics) in 1936, and the song became popular in the United States and Canada, where it became strongly associated with Christmas.

I'm from Ukraine (Kyiv). The Hardkiss is a very talented band. We love them and are proud of them. Julia is an amazing singer and writes lyrics herself. I have been to their concert many times. Amazing atmosphere and live performance. Listen to other songs!!!

I gave this some thought and want to recommend these next: Артем Пивоваров - Ой На Горі alyona alyona - Chomu? (feat. Jerry Heil) Kalush Orchestra & The Rasmus - In The Shadows of Ukraine The last one is a recent collaboration of a ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra with the finnish band The Rasmus, which if you are familiar with, is just epic. Previously this year they both represented their counties at Eurovision. This song is a rebirth of Rasmus's old 2003 song "In The Shadows", but basically with a new sound and meaning.
