With Zia, at least she did lie about some stuffs which is what led to her big scandal. girls like the Damelios legit were on the American news for simply for not reacting well to slugs, which was even a prank on them to begin with from their dad and his chef friend. As an only child and and daughter who was very close to my extroverted mom this really hits home, she is late now and we used to talk everyday, its because of this that when she didn't answer me I knew something was wrong and she ended up passing a few weeks later, so I understand Jia. I hope they cherish their relationship, because I never thought I'd lose my mom so early (50s) - for a while I really wondered why I was still here when she wasn't - I never got the chance to repay her for all the sacrifices she made to raise me.

I relate to Jia so, so much.. I don’t have any close friends that I confide in, only my husband and my mother.. If I can’t get ahold of either one of them on the phone, severe anxiety washes over me and the thought of “should I call the police?” also crosses my mind. They are the only ones I tell my worries and happiness to, and I rely on them greatly. I don’t answer phone calls or texts from others in a timely manner and relationships with other people feel like a chore, or like I have to wear a ‘mask’ so to speak.. I feel awful for Jia. She was completely witch-hunted by jealous, insecure losers on the internet who wanted to see her brought down a peg. This will be one of those cases where years from now people realize how awful they were to a young girl for something that was ultimately harmless.
