The right mindset is so important. You're not just jeopardising your own career, you're risking the entire group. I actually think that's how BTS worked. Hardship after hardship, scandal after scandal, and fight after fight, they remained together. Every group will fight but if you can convince each other that you deserve to be there, it makes everyone want to work harder. But the wrong mindset will make your members doubt you. I honestly think that is the real glue that held them together. Even J-Hope their most carefree looking member looks dead serious during practice. It's not personality, it's mindset.

It's not a surprised that soyeon did well in both mtg and fb as a mentor. She's in charge of idle, plus if you've seen her in produce 101 and upr3, she really knows what she's doing despite of being a trainee. P101, she wrote every rap part (tho no one asked her to write). During UPR3, she also do the planning in every performance, you will see her giving inputs and even assessing the stage. Queendom is another example, just watch the behind of every performance so you will understand. Mtg just showed how good she is, during the first mission if you watch the rehearsal of both team. Grade 4 rehearsal wasn't that good because they saw grade 3 rehearsal (although soyeon attended grade4 practice and polish everything). Grade 4 wasn't confident after watching grade 3 rehearsal, soyeon was planning on the spot how to beat the grade 3. And even during Ace mission, she's good on giving advice.
